We had an excellent experience at Wheaton Eye Clinic. My two-year-old needed an eye exam after a pediatrician referral, and I honestly could not be happier with how everything went.
We saw Nathaniel E. McIntyre, M.D., and he was absolutely amazing. This is exactly the kind of person who should be working with little kids. He truly has it in him. He is incredibly smart, knowledgeable, and thorough, but just as importantly, he knows how to make children feel comfortable and safe.
Despite working with a two-year-old who had very little patience, he knew exactly how to guide the exam and make it successful without stress or pressure. It was clear he has a lot of experience with kids and genuinely cares.

I've been going to Wheaton Eye Clinic for years and they are normally great. However, this past visit was disheartening. All of the staff I interacted with and observed were rude to patients, had little patience, and seemed like they didn't have the time for my questions. It felt very rushed and I left with no game plan about my vision.

Be very careful of this place. Dr did unnecessary test and charged us. Upon asking, they said you will have to pay. When I called my insurance company they said these charges should be covered by the insurance. Then the office tells me Dr Kipp is medical doc and does not take vision insurance. Then why are they deceiving patients by their name wheaton eye clinic?
Be careful, they are rude will make you sign thing, do unnecessary test and bill you. We are never going back!!

I had a scratched cornea and an ulcer in my eye, seen doctors at Plainfield location then needed to come to this location for they have drs. everyday seen Dr Makadia she was very caring, informative and recommended I see Dr Lee the Cornea Specialist. Dr Lee, was amazing, I seen her twice, she is very busy yet did not make me feel rushed she shared what I could expect, she was knowledgeable, kind, caring do not hesitate to come here they are the best!!!

Husband went in for general exam, said minor poor vision in left eye, appoint 30 minutes. Not happy with the answer he went to my doctor, his examine was 90 minutes, found detached retina. Referred to eye surgeon. Surgeon checked his records, Wheaton had noted he had a detached retina 4 years go but didn't tell him. He will NEVER got to them again.

Excellent service and place for all types of eye treatment. Dr. Makadia goes above and beyond on every visit and the entire staff at Wheaton Eye Clinic are extremely proficient, efficient, courteous and friendly. The facilities are state of the art, comfortable and clean. While the wait time to start treatments and test is always very brief, typically only a minute or two after my appointment time. I am extremely pleased with Wheaton Eye Clinic, its doctors and team. If you need a great place for eye care I highly recommend them and they have offices in multiple locations. The picture attached is the Plainfield, Illinois location.
