Went to see the ophthalmologist at the Joliet location near us with medical insurance. Got great service there. They did the exam and then sent us to the New Lenox location for the optometrist exam with vision insurance, Davis Vision. Waited for a week for the appointment, took an hour off work, and drove through the ridiculous traffic for an hour to get there only to be told that particular doctor doesn't take our insurance, another doctor does and he doesn't have any available appointments today. Someone should have called us. Well they didn't! We even showed them the call log on our phone. They just stared at us. Completely unprofessional and I will never waste my time with them again.

I always have a fine experience at Spectrum Eye Institute. For many years now, the doctors, nurses, and staff have provided excellent, professional care for all my vision needs. I always feel cared for there-- everyone listens to me and does their very best to make sure I have continued good vision health. As I age, they modify their examinations and procedures to make sure my vision is at the very best it could be. As well as being professional, informed, and educated in all areas of ocular health, everyone there is always so friendly and pleasant, too--- really great people! I always recommend Spectrum Eye Institute to anyone looking for quality vision care.

We had an appointment for my 90 yr old father this morning at 11. He wasn't taken back until 11:50. While I understand there are delays, this happens all the time and they don't even tell you when you're checking in that there's a delay. Many of the patients are elderly and keeping them waiting is extraordinarily rude. They double book consistently. Completely unacceptable!

My mother has been going to see Dr. Lelis for years and just recently had surgery on both of her eyes. Everything was great and smooth, and the staff as far as scheduling was good. Just recently she had caught a virus in her eye (nothing related to the surgery) we were able to see doctor the same day. And it was a good thing we did because the virus has to be treated asap. The doctor prescribed eye ointment which was not covered by her insurance (when are there no issues with insurance these days) and as well as the pharmacy disappointment, however after initial upsetting conversation the staff went above and beyond (two names should be mention they both helped me like it was their own mother in getting the medicine it was Michelle and Margaret: thank you ladies). Very happy with the service of the staff and the doctor.

The appointment scheduling was fine. Once I got there they informed me of an upfront cost. They let me know over the phone that they took my insurance and everything was verified. The representative stated that it should of been added to my confirmation text but it at not I double checked whine I was on the office. The guy that did my testing had some sort of body odor. The Dr was nice but I think this was my first and last visit.

The entire staff starting from the girls at the front desk to the doctor her assistant and the scheduling woman treated me like I was the only one in the office. They were friendly, efficient, thorough in the examination and all explanations of everything. I walked out of there without having one question in my mind and very confident that I had gotten and will continue to get in the future , the best of care. I am so fortunate to have her and her staff and to be able to trust her with my vision

I have been a patient of Dr Lelis for a number of years. He has done my cataract surgery about 8 years ago and I am very pleased with the results and my vision over the long term. He is now treating me for glaucoma. Dr Lelis explains what my field vision test ( which I am not fond of)shows and how my vision has changed or stayed the same. I appreciate knowing what is going on behind the "scene". His office staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Last Friday I went to Spectrum for my annual eye exam. Making my appointment was easy and the staff readily accommodated my scheduling needs. I was greeted as I entered and health and insurance forms that needed updating were ready for me to fill out. I barely sat down when I was called back and the technician (I'm sorry I don't recall her name) was friendly, professional, polite and very efficient as she performed necessary pre-exam testing. Doctor Rassouli gave me, yet again, a very thorough examination. Dr. Rassouli has been my ophthalmologist for three years now. He is quite careful and thorough as he monitors several conditions I have and makes solid diagnoses and treatment recommendations. I am always grateful that such a compassionate professional is caring for my vision and eye health. Check-out was also super fast and efficient. My contact information was confirmed and updated and appointment reminders for my next visit were set up. I highly recommend Dr. Rassouli and his entire team. A very smooth, efficient, professional and caring office!
