Marion eye center

Both of my kiddos see Dr. Hall. She is so kind and patient with them! Very personable and welcoming. She remembers things they like/do and is sure to bring it up during visits, which makes them feel included and special. We love her!

This was my first visit after switching doctors for local convenience. Wait time was almost 30 minutes after appointment time and I arrived 10 minutes early. I came for annu eye dilation due to type 1 diabetes with prescription check and now have to come back because the prescription check was attempted after my eyes were already dilated. Would have appreciated a more robust dilation check, went very fast. Eye health is very concerning to diabetics, even being in control I would have appreciated more robust evaluation (compared to what I am used to with old doctor.). Staff was very very friendly and professional overall.

I'm giving it 2 stars because the doctor was great. The receptionists and customer service, however, have been horrible. My initial appointment was in July & I was given a trial pair of contacts. 2 weeks later, I called to order the contacts, that were more than covered by insurance. I waited over a month and never received my contacts or a phone call from Marion Eye Center. When I called to inquire about the status of my order, I was informed that my contacts were never order. I requested another trial pair to get me by and for my order to be placed. The receptionist said she would have to check and call me back, she never called me back. I called again today, the receptionist said she had no idea what I was talking about. When I informed her that my order was more than covered by insurance she asked me to hold. I was transferred to someone else, who insisted that my order was $3 over my insurance coverage. When I asked why, it was because the first lady had changed it from a 6 month supply to a 6 moth supply on one eye, a year supply on the other. At this point, I decided that I was done dealing with these people and just wanted my prescription, that i DID pay out of pocket for in July. She said she would gladly make me a copy of the prescription, however she cannot mail it. This has been a horrible experience. Since I opted for contacts, my insurance will not cover glasses. I currently have no contacts, no glasses, and an eye center who could care less! If you want to be able to see, go ANYWHERE else!!

I am rarely satisfied after a visit to the eye doctor. It was always kind of a rush to pick out frames and I would feel awkward trying them on. This was really surprising because the lady that helped me made me comfortable and we had frames every where lol. We hunted until I found a pair I was certain I liked. That meant a lot.

The Doctor was amazing and super nice. The front desk was my issue. I'd give 5 star for the Doctor and 1 star for the front desk. My initial visit I had mailed in all my paperwork and they said they didn't have my insurance so wanted to reschedule me. Gave them the doctors offices I'd been at to get my insurance info and they acted those it was horrible they had to call. Called and asked my my prescription to be mailed to me and they said okay, 3 weeks later I called and told me no one had mailed it and they said it's sittig here in our pick up because normally people pick them up. Made excuses and no apology or acceptance of them not mailing it. Told me I could come by and pick it up. Front desk, I believe Heather was very rude.

I haven't been to have my eyes checked for at least 15 years. Doctor Hall and her nurse and front desk girl @ Marion Eye Clinic was very friendly and professional. Dr. Hall answered any question I had. The girl that helped me pick out my glasses and was very patient with me. I would definitely recommend this office in Olney!

I had an eye exam today and had a fantastic experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend Marion Eye Center! 10/10

Customer Service is very poor. I've never even been to this eye center and I called to make an appointment and when the receptionist found out I had Illinois Medicaid, she completely switched the script and was really rude. she ended up hanging up on me for no reason. Wont be going here!
