UPDATE: Although I still stand by my previous review, I want to clarify that I wrote it while feeling upset about how the call was handled. I do still believe the individual involved should be reprimanded. However, the in-office service itself was wonderful. Dr. Goldburg showed nothing but kindness and compassion during my visit. She was very thorough in her explanations, and I genuinely appreciate that. Her business should not be affected by a third-party answering service and their lack of customer service skills. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I really don't like liars! Let me explain. My appointment was on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Dr. Goldburg saw patients on a Sunday, which I really appreciated since she had to close her office the Friday before due to the cold weather. Great service, super polite and caring. Now, let's talk about the front desk guy. I don't know his name, but he's the only one I've talked to, from scheduling to rescheduling and now when I'm asking for updates. When I called today, Saturday, February 7, 2026, for an update because I broke my glasses and I'm having trouble with my contacts, I wanted to see if they happened to be there. This guy didn't take the time to properly help me out. When he answered the phone, I introduced myself with both my first and last name and asked if my glasses were there by any chance. He immediately assumed I had Medicaid insurance and told me it takes time to process. I then explained that I don't have Medicaid, I have standard insurance. He then asked me the name of the insurance and told me that also takes time to process and we'd have to have the insurance send them. HUH? The least he could've done was look for them and not make assumptions. RUDE!

Visionman is the perfect name for him!!! He took the lenses out of my broken glasses & put them in new frames. I LOVE them!!!! I can see again, the price was right, & he fixed the same day while we waited! Unheard of! Thanks so much & I will recommend you over & over!

Took a half day off of work to come here, get an exam, pick lenses, then wait 3 weeks with no word on pick up. I call and I'm told "your insurance did not approve the exam as it was too early to have it done". The first thing she did when I got there was get my insurance and ID to see if I was approved. She said all looks good for the test just to tell me, 3 weeks after me calling to check on them since no one from the office bothered to call me, that the test was too early to be done. What a waste of time and money. Never going back and I have a lot of blind friends that I am not recommending this place to.

Dr.Goldberg is super professional, kind, and no-joke cares about saving you as much money as possible. The place is also really fascinating, there's lot of things to look at as opposed to how normally sparse an office is. Give them a call if you are looking for a new optometrist.

This place is a hidden treasure, totally recommend this place, they do same day appointments very flexable . Doctor Goldberg very patient and kind with my kids. we will be going there for our vision needs yearly. Love this place.

I had a hard time deciding if I wanted contacts or glasses. I picked contacts. They were really patient and super helpful. They even called me a few weeks later to see how I have adjusted to wearing contacts.
