Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Answered all questions I asked. The audiologist was very helpful and made sure I understood all the options that were available to me.
Thank you.
I am grateful for the assistance the Center For Sight & Hearing Vision Rehab Therapists, Monica & Emily, have provided me. Each of them has taught me skills (Monica with emphasis on Orientation & Mobility; Emily with emphasis on Technology) for managing vision impairment. They are professional and knowledgeable. I am aware of my need to learn the information and the skills, still much of my learning has been a struggle. Fortunately, Emily & Monica are also kind and patient. I have so much to learn. I hope I have the perseverance, and that they have the persistence, to continue this learning process, in order that I can maintain some level of independence in my home. This Thanksgiving, when I am giving thanks, Monica & Emily and the Center For Sight & Hearing, will be on my list. God bless.

I really appreciate the care I've received with the new audiologist there. It's very obvious she wants me to have a good experience with my hearing aids and has been so helpful. Thank you!
I am so grateful to The Center For Site And Hearing and their representative Monica. Monica was so helpful and was able to find apps that were great tools and not to mention the board games that she found for me. Thank you so much.
The are very professional and answered all my questions. Nice office building and room were very roomie. Very friendly staff.
Initial visit went fine. The volume was not quite loud enough, but I was told to give it time. After almost 2 years, the right one quit and also needed adjustments. I messaged and called and was told they do not have an audiologist on staff at the moment and I would have to wait. Months later, I tried again and was told the same thing. When they finally hired a new audiologist, I was told I would have to pay for a consultation and repairs since my warranty was up, by 1 month. Even with the written messages that I was asking for an appointment. I understand things happen and are unavoidable, but I did try several times before the warranty ended. I don't think it was anything intentional at all, but also feel like I shouldn't be penalized because they didn't have staff for so long.
Itac program is a scam and everyone that I have encountered has pretended to be helpful, yet not 1 has actually assisted or solved my problem. Very disappointed in the place I thought could help my uncle get a phone to help him hear important calls. Its absolutely ridiculous that I have been trying to get on this program since October 2024 and not 1 person could simply give me an address to mail paperwork to, rather than play tag with a Dr. Faxing back and forth. I initially reached out and was told no person or application was on file, until I found all the info I submitted and sent the proof. So where did the application go, if the employee couldn't find it, but I did? Even trying to set up an appointment on-site, an email and an referral is needed to use insurance. It sure would be nice and convenient for the ones that have thousands in their pocket to just walk in for a hearing test with no need for insurance. You people realize your working for? SOME ELDERLY citizens, have never used a computer, or cell phone, or understand email!? And then on top of that can't hear, or see!? Well my uncle is one of those people, and after all he has been through I am extremely disappointed in all these programs that claim to help.
As a part of my D.O.T. physical, a hearing test is administered. I turned 72 in September and I had a problem hearing the forced whisper. In my opinion it is a bogus way of doing it. If it's a large Hardie male. Well, his whisper would be more audible than a petite young lady. No decibel test. Just a forced whisper from at lest 10 feet away.
So I called this Center for Sight and hearing and reached voice mail. I left my contact information and no reply. Two weeks later I called. A lady said that I needed a referral from my primary care doctor. OK; I went through that process for 3 more weeks. Accomplished last week. I returned to trying to make a arrangement for a appointment Monday. I reached voice-mail. No return call. Today, Wednesday same story. Four times I have tried. My better half had a appointment there Monday. She never had a referral and it's her 3 appointment since she started to go there. A dear friend has the same story with his hearing problem. But, when it comes to me. CRICKETS! I can still hear CRICKETS
