Mid-State Eye

I've worn prescription glasses for years, and formerly went to a good eye doctor's office. However, my visit I recently had, was the BEST I've ever had. Very thorough, explained EVERYTHING that was tested, made me feel very educated regarding my eye health, and my personal health as well! I didn't have to spend half of my day and all office associates were very helpful! Paige was an outstanding physician, and I doubt you would find any better!

I got an exam, ordered glasses somewhere else, felt my prescription was too magnified, dr was able to get me in to re-evaluate, got my prescription updated, wearing my glasses with updated script, i still feel that it's off, needs re-evaluated, now the eye dr refuses to see me regarding unless I go where I got the glasses. This issue has nothing to do with where I bought glasses, it has to do with re-evaluation of my script. Not satisfied and all of my friends and family will have knowledge of the poor services and recommend switching to a different eye doctor

Absolutely loved the office. Very home like feeling. Very polite and welcoming workers. My 4 year old son was wanting to touch everything and make his money get an eye exam and the workers went along with it. The eye doctor was very knowledgeable and explained everything well. It was a very pleasant visit. My 9 year old daughter even said she really liked it there.

I Normally go to the office here in Decatur because that is where I live. However, every time I have tried to make an appointment with the Decatur office I was looking at about 3 months later for their next available appointment so I got this idea to find out where the next closest office was located which is in Clinton Illinois. They were able to get me an appointment within the next few weeks and the Doctor that I saw (Jason Dunn) was exceptionally good about explaining things much better and routing out a game plan for my eye infection for the next few weeks which I feel like the Decatur office may have slacked on just a bit? The receptionist and the rest of the staff were so helpful and polite as well and even though this was my first time visiting this office I was made to feel like a Friend rather than just another patient. Driving to the Clinton office was one of the best decisions I could have made and well worth it! ~~~Julie L. Underwood 11-01-23

I was so impressed with Mid-State Eye. Dr. Dunn was fantastic, very friendly and explained everything so well. The scribe that was in the room was very helpful in explaining things as well. The tech who worked me up was so nice and sweet. Let me just say that I've never had a better experience in picking out my glasses. It takes me hours, if not days to decide on a pair of glasses. The girls that helped me were wonderful! They were so much help in assisting me. I had my glasses picked out in no time...actually two pairs. I would highly recommend Mid-State Eye if you are looking for a place to get an eye exam and glasses.

Everyone greeted me when I arrived. Not like Norm on Cheers but it was still very nice. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and seemed to be juggling many things at once and doing it well. Dr. Tom was amazing. Very professional but personable. He explained everything and let me know what to expect short term and long term. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for coming to Clinton.

First time there and it was hands down the best experience I've had. Staff was wonderful and Dr was great very thrall and extremely informative. Showed compassion and concern. Thank you for the excellent treatment. I will be returning.
