I recieved the best eye exam I've ever had. I have an appointment this spring for cataract surgery.

Great experience with Sparta facility. They spent an extended period of time on the phone to find a facility that could get my boyfriend seen same day for a torn retina. As a nurse I truely appreciate the teamwork that was shown between facilities to assist us in our time of need. Dr Omar & staff you have our respect

While the staff are great, their prices are not. They are pricing themselves out of customers. Our family of 8 will start seeking care elsewhere as their sitting fee for contacts have went from 49 to 69 dollars which is insane. Other places only charge 30.

My experience with Marion Eye Center & Optical was superb! Staff is always courteous and professional. I highly recommend this facility. The surgeon did an excellent job. Everyone involved with my procedures helped me to feel pampered. 5 stars for them!

I was happy that I was able to request an appointment online. This was very nice. They called and confirmed an appointment for my 17 year old and 12 year old. My vision insurance covers 1 eye exam every 2 years. This would have been only 1 year since the last exam. The office staff called to inform me of this, which I already knew. The date of the appointment arrived and my 17 year old and 12 old showed up and were informed AGAIN, that insurance would not cover the exams. (Thanks, lady. I know this. I sent payment for the exams.) Then they proceed to tell my 17 year old that she will need parental consent. I understand that. I am on the phone giving parental consent. But all they kept saying was "this is not covered under insurance." Since they seemed to not want to give the eye exams, I said to just cancel their appointments and I cancelled my upcoming appointment and they just lost 3 patients. The doctors are great, reception, not so much.

Best appointment ever!! The staff was very friendly, Clean facility, appointment time was accurate. Couldn't ask for anything better. I wish ALL my medical appointments were this good. Thank you Marion Eye Center in Sparta IL.

We got our glasses here. The doctor was great, but when we picked up our glasses the lady refused to help fit them to my wife's face. I couldn't understand it because every time I have purchased glasses elsewhere they have helped shape the glasses to sit right.

Years ago, I went to walmart's optical center, but ever since I took my mom to her first appointment with Marion Eye Center, I was hooked! Now, all my optical needs are taken care of at MEC's Sparta office! I'll never go anywhere else!
