Walmart Vision & Glasses

A few years ago, our preschool had free vision screenings and they recommended that my daughter be seen by an eye Dr. I took her to the Wal-Mart Vision Center, not expecting much. After her screening, they told me her prescription was so strong that they recommended a second opinion. I scheduled her an appointment at another optometrist and the script mirrored what Wal-Mart had found. I was shocked at the honesty of the Wal-Mart Dr and super impressed. I bought my daughter's frames from Wal-Mart but had her lenses done by the other doctor. Last year, I had Wal-Mart fill her script for a replacement pair and they had them quickly. They also fixed them for free each time my daughter would break them (within the warranty period). I plan on taking her again for her next exam. I take my son every 2 years and have been impressed each time.

Piss poor customer service, says closes at 6pm on Saturdays? More like 5:30/5:45, got there in plenty of time and they're closed and refused to get the glasses we were there to pick up. Not appointment and nothing more than to hand them to us. This is the poorest excuse for a vision center I have ever heard of and the only thing that this place deserves is to be shut down. Will never be back and hopefully some jobs are lost. Thanks to the woman who wouldn't help us.

The guys that work here are just fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely plan on going back to them for all my glasses needs.
