I was hesitant when Ossip took over the eye doctor that was previously here. Seeing as how my eye doctor retired and Ossip is well known, I stuck with them an gave them a shot. I have been a faithful customer to the Ossip in Camby, IN. My vision is very bad and I have to have routine exams for contacts and glasses both. They are pricey, but usually good care is. I don't mind that. The most recent time I was in, I chose a pair of frames and they assured me they would be in by my promise date. So my promise date arrived and I had not heard anything from them, so I called them instead. Was told the Optometrist would contact me, but she never did. So I call again in the last half of the day hoping to get a reason why my very expensive frames and lenses have not arrived yet. I was told that their DC never sent my order to the lab in the past 2 weeks since my appointment. So they called and sent it over and told me my wait to have my glasses would be ANOTHER 2 weeks. I stressed that my concern was that if I would not have called, would they even have realized that my order was not fulfilled? After sitting on it I decided to try and cancel my order and I would take my script elsewhere. I called and asked if that was an option and if my money would be reimbursed. They said it would take a while to receive the money back and that it would come by mail. The employees here are nice and accommodating but this service is absolutely unacceptable. I know things happen and mistakes are made at times, but I feel that I have had to keep myself in the loop and try and force a resolution when in actuality, I paid them to do that. Nothing has been offered as compensation or anything to help the frustration of waiting almost a month to receive my glasses that I need. As mentioned above, I cannot see without corrective lenses and have my old prescription frames I'm using in replace. Once my glasses come in, I will not be returning to this store. I will take my business elsewhere. On behalf of the office and staff, they are polite and very nice but the customer service end after the office visit is not up to what it should be.

I just switched my eye doctor to this one and am happy I did. The staff were all very friendly and informative. I even got better contacts that suit my lifestyle that my previous doctor did not tell me about.

Terrible customer service! I had an appointment scheduled for 3 weeks at a specific time to work around my work schedule. They decide to call me a week before and inform me they cannot honor the appointment bc the doctor doesn't come in until after that time. Then you shouldn't have scheduled the appointment in the first place! Needless to say I will be changing optometrists.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Professional optometry clinic. Come in and see them to get the correct prescription and smiley faces.

Didn't work well with insurance. Also don't give them your email. They will bombard you with adds even after claiming it's just for billing. (Which it's not)

Good customer service but extremely expensive. Unfortunately I won't be back.
