The only thing I would change is when you come in and are doing the self check in and the 2 people at the front desk are talking among themselves I feel they should at least acknowledge you with a smile or Good morning. That rubbed me the wrong way. But the rest of the staff were excellent especially Katie.

The staff was great and friendly but the check in process was very time consuming on the kiosk. Then after you think your done with everything after seating down waiting for the staff to call you back for your screening they give you a paper to fill out yes it was only 1 piece but it seemed to me as they really didn't care and didn't need my business. It was kinda like some staff just was there basically there for a check, which is fine and all but I don't think they should be in a business where they have to interact with customers. At the check out part the lady didn't really give me any information about where to go really to check out the glasses, I had to ask where to go. Then the lady that was helping me get glasses picked out she was nice but didn't know exactly what some of the codes were. Overall I believe the whole appointment took almost 2.5 hrs which is the longest time for an eye doctor visit. There glasses aren't in any cost order so you have to basically ask about every pairs price, I believe that would be a good fix and would make it so much easier for ones that are trying to stay on their insurance and not pay as much out of pocket. It would make the experience quicker and not so stressful.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable..Told me what I needed and explained the cost to me. Haven't recieved my glasses yet. Hope they help my vision out. Thank you to the staff for being so nice and helpful to myself and my dad..

The doctor is great. The kiosk where I had to do their job for them, as I checked myself in at the kiosk and scan in my own drivers license and insurance card and answer 20 questions right where the staff was sitting doing nothing but talking about where they were going to get their lunch however was the most ridiculous asinine task I've ever endured and was frankly a joke. Why pay people to sit and talk while I am doing their job? I will go somewhere else if the kiosk doesn't disappear, and so will MANY others!!! What happened to people actually working? Is that not a thing anymore?

First time customer of Dr Black's Eye Associates. My experience was definitely not ideal. I broke my glasses and was needing another pair. I made the appointment and they were very quick to get me in. Once I arrive, I am asked to fill out paperwork from reception. All pretty normal stuff so far. Alesha calls my name and she walks me through all normal pre-exam questions and procedures. Alesha was amazing. She went above and beyond to make my visit wonderful. She was professional and kind. But this is when everything kinda went sideways. I have to mention, Kelly was kind and very professional. However, the rest of my visit wasn't something I would want a friend or family member to experience. Hope, the scribe of Dr Katt (she informed me of this title) was rude, arrogant and bullied me into a procedure I didn't want. The short version of the incident is- I am extremely sensitive to having my eyes dilated and she told me that either I had them dilated or I couldn't get glasses. So, I had them dilated. Here it is the next day and they are still dilated. I then see Dr Katt who rushed through my exam that I think it took less than 10 minutes. It was all one or two... three or four... flipping through lenses. All rush, rush, rush. She had someone waiting on her in the hall and I believe that is what her priorities were focused on. Then Brittany, in the optical department was trying to do the work of three people and it showed. Apparently, the other two staff members called in sick. She was kind but obviously stressed and distracted. After I left, she called left me a message to call back right at closing. Then I get to worry all night about what was the issue. I called first thing today to be informed that she undercharged me. She miscalculated my total and now I have to come pay more money. Frustrated is the understatement. I can only hope that my experience was just a fluke and that the normal experience is much more professional.

10/10 recommend! Dr. Katt at the Corydon branch was able to get me in for an eye emergency. Everyone was very kind, helpful and attentive. Definitely a positive experience. Shoutout to Heather for getting me in asap!

I always get an appointment when I need one. The staff in the corydon office are amazing and Dr.Kellum is the best! She is knowledgeable and I always feel like I'm in good hands.
