Costco Optical Department

I had a great experience getting two pairs of glasses with Tong. He is so knowledgeable and thoughtful. When hearing that it would be my first time getting progressive lenses, he patiently walked me through the caveats. When I came back for adjustment, he kindly replaced the original plastic nose pads with softer silicone ones, and adjusted the angles for me. I am super impressed with Tong's professionalism and kindness.

I have utilized Costco's optical department three times over the past year. Coincidentally, each time a person named Alex has been there to help me. Alex is very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Today I forgot my health savings account card and another employee told me he could not help me. But when Alex overheard this, he found ways to accommodate my needs. Not only has Alex been so helpful all these many times, but ultimately the cost and value of Costco products is superior than those in other optical stores. I'm thankful to have a Costco optical near me and to have it guided by such a competent and friendly person in Alex. Thank you, Alex and Costco for being there for me.

Jim was remarkably helpful and friendly answering questions and helping me narrow down glasses. We didn't have an appointment and he stopped what he was doing to walk us around while being very accomodating. We were only browsing but Jim had us leave with an incredibly positive experience!

Swift was not a good optometrist when I saw him this morning, so I highly recommend NOT seeing him. I went into the appointment with my mom because she's older and to translate for her since English is not her first language. Swift hurried my mom throughout the entire exam in a rude manner. He spoke extremely fast, used a lot of medical jargon and didn't want to explain anything. Also, his behavior was invasive - as my mom was just settling in, he yanked her purse from her hands and set it on another chair. At one point, he even mentioned he was running behind, which is not our concern, especially since we showed up on time. We were shocked and deeply upset with his lack of professionalism and what felt like general disdain for us as customers who came to him for help with our vision concerns. Everyone else there was helpful and professional. We will not be returning.

Very friendly staff and knowledgeable about their stock. They were able to order me a pair if classes that were no long in stock. I am definitely going back for my next exam and glasses

The Dr is great! He even took care of my 7 yr old daughter very well. Will go to annually for my exams.
