I was a patient of Dr. Engleberg for many, many years and when he was retired, I was concerned about who would replace him at TaVel and Engelberg Optometrist (at the 56th St. and Lafayette Rd. location) However, when I met Dr. Meital (May) Wurster I quickly realized that my concerns were unwarranted. She is just as kind and as patient as Dr. Engleberg was which was a pleasant surprise. While the name of the building has changed her and the staff are still wonderful people. I have tried other optometrists over the last several years, but I always end up back at this location. I highly recommend it.

I was here this week for my regular visit. Staff was all very friendly and visit with technician and doctor went well. Dr Wurster explained options for the changes in my eyes and stressed that I can make actions as I am comfortable doing so.

This was my first visit and this establishment is the best experience I've ever had when having an eye exam. They were so welcoming and thorough. From the front desk to the doctor it was amazing!!!

Staff is very friendly! Eye care specialists are very knowledgeable and show concern for patients. My eye care specialists forever!

A very nice place and the doctor was very nice and talked to me about everything I needed to know and all of the optometrists was very polite and helpful to my needs, made me feel comfortable. Thank you again and looking forward to SEEING you all again.

Just left the Creasey office after picking up my new classes. Not impressed. I had to wait quite a while as there was only one person doing the fittings (several other employees present but apparently could not issue new glasses). Once someone did help me, I was basically on my own with the fitting... given a card to read but no follow up as to the fit. After sitting there awhile, I asked if that was it and if I could leave. Got to thinking later about this realizing all I walked out with was the new glasses and the case. I usually get a small bottle of cleaner and a cleaning cloth and information about the lenses... nothing! I guess after spending $551 (after insurance), the glasses are all you get. It was a Friday afternoon about 4:30 and I got the feeling everyone was already checked-out for the weekend. This was the first time I had been to the Creasey (main) office. I will be returning to the Purdue office where I normally go as they seem to care more about their patients and take the time needed (and what I paid for).

Enjoyed my visit for the most part. Optometrist was very thorough and professional. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was with the person who fitted me with my glasses. She figured the cost of the glasses which I paid for. As I was paying she told me she made a mistake and needed to pay an additional 142.00$. I was not happy but I paid it. Several minutes after I left she calls me and said she made another miss quote and in order for me to get what asked for there would be additional charges. I told her not to add anything else to the glasses that would cause any additional charges. This was very frustrating.

I was greeted right away and even though I was a little early, the cheery and helpful staff got me started right away. The appointment took some extra time as I was meeting this Dr. for the first time. She answered all my questions and gave me great advice. Great Experience!
