Eye See You Optometry

Came in for my eye exam today! I was very pleased with the staff. Dr. Tawfeek gave me the exam and was very professional while also being the sweetest person I have ever met. 10 STARS! The staff was very nice as well and did a great job making me feel welcomed.

Dr. Tawfeek and her staff are amazing! They are very welcoming and professional. The receptionist went out of her way to deal with my insurance issues and the doctor took extra time to handle my weird eye problems and to refer me to an out of state eye surgeon for treatment. Also, their equipment is state- of-the-art. They are the best! You'll thank me later.

Dr. Tawfeek is the best optometrist I have been to, very polite and very detailed, excellent bed side manners, cheerful and pleasant, listened attentively my requirements and did a great job of addressing those, explained the results and preventions and suggested why I should consider, in a very effective manner. Took into account and provided a practical and effective solution for my hobbies that I was having challenges using the current set up of my glasses, very happy to endorse without reservations. Her staff is super nice & helpful, polite and spends time answering or working with you. the office is very friendly and well appointed. Coming from a different city/ state, I am happy that I found a great place for our needs.

Dr. Tawfeek is a wonderful doctor. I have seen her for several years - followed her from Plainfield, and my kids see her, too. She has taken such good care of us. Staff also is friendly. Great environment! Unfortunately, my last visit, I thought I was seeing Dr Tawfeek. But some other Dr took care of me today. She never introduced herself, I don't know her name. But at one point I put in a new contact that was blurry. She asked me to take it out and give it to her. She didn't wash her hands and didn't put gloves on. After she had been typing! I was in such shock from this. She took my contact rinsed it off flipped it around and gave it back to me telling me to put it back in my eye. Utterly shocking and so incredibly unprofessional. I'm so disappointed. I drive 45 minutes from home because Dr Tawfeek has always taken such good care of me. Only to find that my appointment was not with Dr Tawfeek, but I had taken the time off work so I proceeded with this appointment today.

If you have astigmatism, Dr Brian Swift is your doc! I haven't had a better experience anywhere else. As someone with astigmatism, he was great at explaining the challenges with astigmatism and different ways to correct it. Prior to this, my doctors would just tell me that my astigmatism is really bad without an explanation; I always had trouble with contacts, halos, pain, and red rings around my eyes. Dr. Swift was able to explain why finding the right contacts for astigmatism can be tricky and that it might take a couple tries to find the right prescription. It's only been a few days, but I think this first pair is going better than my previous prescriptions.. time will tell... I'm amazed! He is great at efficiently explaining in a way that's understandable without over-explaining. The best! It took less time for all of the exam aspects (eye glass, retinal imaging, contacts, etc) than my previous place of choice... and I left with more knowledge!! Will be sticking with this doctor.

Routine checkup was so quick and easy! They even have an imaging machine that you can choose to have them use instead of the dilating eye drops (alas, you don't get to wear those stylish shades for the rest of the day). Dr. Tawfeek and her staff explained everything and fully answered all questions. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Dr Brian Swift was great. Very thorough. Asked some really good questions about some eye issues I was having. Explained literally every part of the exam and why he was doing it in great detail. Changed my previous prescription a little bit and, again, was very thorough and detailed in explaining exactly why he was doing what he was doing.
