Eyeglass World

I visited Eye glass World for a new pair of glasses with eye exam. I am a firm believer that first impressions are everything! Let me start with the amazing associate Damani, He approached me professionally and his vibe was pure intelligent, very informative, caring and let me tell you I'm a handful to deal with. We had a blast of laughter. He showed nothing but genuine customer care! He is the best! The doctor as well very knowledgeable, gentle and caring!! Thank you to this great team! Mrs.Bobbitt

Walked in first thing in the morning and was immediately greeted and assisted by Mrs. Shelby. She fixed and cleaned my glasses in no time. Was able to get to work on time today thanks to her. -Saveon

Shelby helped me fix my glasses and was very friendly and provided excellent service to me and everyone else I saw her interact with. Her positive attitude (towards customers and fellow co-workers) was very uplifting. I walked out in a great mood and a fixed pair of glasses!

Was in town for some contract work and needed some new prescription safety glasses was turning into a royal pain as try several other places and had almost given up, when stop for something eat and looked up and saw this place and thought give it a try. Went and was a breeze, got helped right away, pick out some frames and ordered up the glasses, as these are a bit of a speciality with what I wear, knew it would be sent out but was please it was going to be only a short few days unlike the normal 2 weeks in most other places. Glasses came in real quick, was called and went by to pick. Folks got them ready and fitted up real nice. A Huge Shoot Out to the folks there, Monty whom help with the order, Cassandra whom was working magice on some frames and Eli whom help get all fitting done when picked up. If you need some new spectacles you gotta give these folks a try. They do everything in house, eye exams and all.

What a crack and personable team are Cher and Tyra at Eyeglass World in Castleton! I walked in this morning with my Eyeglass World specs badly misshapen and even bent due to one of my Aftercare kids caught me in the face with a rogue ball yesterday! As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by the gracious and reassuring Tyra who took my messed up glasses in hand like they were a bird with a broken wing she was eager to help. She quickly and deftly straightened the frame and then offered to replace the dirty, wobbly nose pads! How could I say no? Well, this turned into major surgery as she rifled through case after case of minuscule screws that would accommodate my problematic glasses. After blowing a generous 15 minutes on the effort, she turned to colleague Cher, the diva of eyeglass repair. I was blown away by this wonderful craftsperson's ability with dinky screwdrivers, teensy screws, and all the patience in the world as she convinced me it was worth the effort and that she would give this ordeal she took on a happy ending. All the while these humane and charitable ladies kept me chatting and relaxed as if we were neighbors. Suddenly, 30 minutes of their sweating over my pair of glasses in, it was, "Ta-da!" They had me try them on and I could have hugged and kissed them both for the good-as-new fit of my glasses!! Instead, I decided to express gratitude and appreciation for this amazing team in this Google Review.

I am pretty upset. Literally took time off of work to come for a contact exam to learn how to put in contacts. I literally called about it last week and asked questions and my email is labeled "Contact Exam." Missed time off work this morning to come in for them to tell me that nobody was there to teach me how to put in contacts and then looked at me like I was crazy when I said "That's the whole reason I am here." I get that stuff happens, but why didn't you call and tell me nobody would be there? Also the male I was explaining my frustration too when rescheduling literally just walked away while I was talking. I think I will choose somewhere that has more professional staff for my contact exam. Big time waster this morning and all it would have taken was a phone call.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME!! WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE!!! I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Eyeglass World that I feel compelled to share. I brought a friend's pair of glasses to their store for repairs, trusting their supposed expertise. They assured me they could fix them, but instead, the glasses were broken by one of their employees. To make matters worse, the employee giggled and said, "I'm sorry, super glue is now your best friend," without offering any compensation or a proper apology. Taking my grievance to corporate seemed like the right move, so I did, but a few days later, the store manager's response was equally frustrating. Instead of compensating for the glasses their employee broke, she offered to cover the cost of an eye exam and insisted we pay regular prices for new glasses, with a buy-one-get-one promotion that's already available to the public. When I expressed my frustration and argued that I shouldn't have to pay for glasses they broke, the manager coldly replied that comping the glasses or the eye exam was against company policy. She said I could either accept the eye exam or receive nothing at all. It's against company policy, yet she offers me one anyway; she can do both. This blatant disregard for their responsibility was appalling to me. The situation was made worse by the manager's attitude, rudeness, unprofessionalism, and flat-out dishonesty. She claimed that her employee had warned me about the risk of breaking the glasses, which was an outright lie. If I had been informed of any risk, I would have taken them elsewhere for repair. When I asked for proof of their supposed terms of service acceptance, she caught an attitude and lied through her teeth about having video evidence and refused to show it. She then contradicted herself by saying customer service, not she, reviewed the footage. This experience has shown me that Eyeglass World is not only unprofessional but also deceitful. They failed to take responsibility for their mistake, lied about the circumstances, and treated a loyal customer with utter disrespect. I will never trust or recommend Eyeglass World to anyone. They are a complete disgrace and a huge disappointment. Avoid this place at all costs!

Everyone was really kind and helpful, love my glasses and Shelby the GM. She helped me beyond measure, so patient! She is a rock star
