Had a great visit here as a first time patient and first time ever seeing an eye doctor. The doctor was friendly and explained things thoroughly. I was here a total of 30 mins which is awesome, and that included my eye exam and diagnosis. The staff are wonderful to. Highly recommend.

Dr Reckley gave the best eye exam I have ever had. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. Staff not very professional, I can deal with that however the young lady that fit me with glasses made me feel rushed. She constantly was showing me different glasses instead of just allowing me to look around. Long story short, I hurried through and now hate my new frames. Sad but true.

I called to order contacts almost 2 months ago. After many weeks of hearing nothing I call again and the lady at the desk says :oh I was on vacation it was someone else who didn't put the order through...she never apologized, never owned her mistake, just blamed someone else and offered to actually order them. I never said anything just waited for my order. Then after the contacts finally come in I get home with them and a week later she texts me a says "they sent you trials". I asked her if she would mail them to me since I've already been there to pick them up once and she said she would have to charge me $15. I get mistakes but just own them! In this situation it would have been a great opportunity to just say "I'm so sorry about this mistake, I know this has been an ongoing problem getting your contacts. Would you like us to ship these to your house for no charge?" Also side note: the Dr talks too much and he's annoying. Both times I've seen him He talks bad about past employees. I know way too much about random people that used to work for him. Very unprofessional and shows his character. My husband, I and our kids will go somewhere else from now on.

We travel full time for work so we always have a different eye doctor every year. I don't meet many doctors that I like but Dr. Reckley is my new favorite eye doctor. He took his time and didn't rely on all the fancy equipment but worked with us on a personal level. And got us in the day after I called for back to back appointments. Greatly appreciated! Thank you! I highly recommend this practice and friendly staff.

Hands down the best eye exam I've ever had! The doctor was so thorough and took the time to answer all my questions--I never felt rushed for a second. The staff went above and beyond, accommodating my last-minute appointment and keeping me informed every step of the way. My only regret is not finding this place sooner. If you're looking for great care, this is the spot!

My go-to eye doctor for many years now! During eye exams, Dr Kevin Reckley always seems to know how to relate to customers and is ready for conversation. The office staff are kind and helpful as well. I do recall one staff lady that wasn't great with customers. Once when I came in for a frame adjustment, she got irritated and didn't understand when I tried to describe how my glasses didn't feel level when worn. As I recall, this assistant had little patience, and fortunately doesn't appear to work here any longer. Other than that isolated incident a few years ago, I've always met quick and kind service at this office. An easy recommendation!

Dr. Kevin Reckley has been my optometrist since I was a little girl. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes over 30 years ago, & he has always stressed to me the importance of having controlled diabetes as it can affect the retinas of my eyes. He takes his time with me every year to do a thorough exam to ensure I'm not developing diabetic retinopathy. He is very knowledgeable, hands-on, & actually cares about his patients. He has all the latest, up to date technology so the exams are relatively quick & very accurate. Recently, I was having an issue with seeing up close, although I was diagnosed as near-sighted. He completed the exam & said, "Well, you have Presbyopia". I was like, "Oh no, what is that?!" He then replied, "Its just old age!" He has a great sense of humor--which made me feel better & relieved it was nothing serious. He recommended me to get some reading glasses, since the several samples of the multi-focal lenses he provided didn't work for me. His staff has also been very helpful when I have needed to schedule an appointment or get new glasses or contacts. I have stopped by the office on occasion without an appointment, & they took their time to do adjustments to my glasses at no charge. I have also had several insurance changes throughout the years, & they have always told me up front what my insurance covers before they do anything. The awesome care I have received at this office always keeps me coming back! Thank you again Reckley Eye Care for taking care of me for several decades!
