I went there with a prescription for glasses to help me see to drive better at night and to be able to read. I had cataracts removed and have had problems with my night vision and reading. The staff was very nice and helpful. The young lady that worked there named Kari was who fitted me and took my measurements. She really helped me pick out frames that would compliment my face and skin tone. She worked with my insurance and found me the best deals. She was very busy that day as it was the 31st of Dec and yet she made time for everyone in the store. I am very pleased with my new glasses. I'll definitely recommend Stanton and Kari's store. In fact I already have to one of my good friends who has a hard time with glasses as she needs prisms.

My visit at this Stanton Optical location was wonderful. I worked with Kari who was so sweet and professional. Kari was also patient and spent about an hour with me to help me pick frames I was (and am) obsessed with! My exam was also thorough. The location is easy to find/get to, it's clean and inviting. Kari, the manager, has been one of the best managers I've worked with from any store. She helped another family member and they were very pleased as well. I had gone to another location and didn't love the experience but this one on 82nd St. has been great. Fitting my glasses hasn't been the easiest process because I'm so picky with the frame style but she's been very patient and cordial the entire time She cut the lenses herself extremely quickly, and I left with my glasses on the spot. I highly recommend going to this Stanton and seeing Kari.

Terrible service! Ms. Kari only cares about the money. Not only did they do a bad job, but they also charged me for the poorly done exams. I waited a long time for reading glasses; now imagine what could happen to people who need more than that. Be careful about coming here!

I went in for an eye exam and to get lenses done for frames that I already owned. The new manager provided me with one of the best experiences I've ever had in an optical shop. She was courteous, never made me feel rushed, answered all my questions, and promptly made the lenses while I waited in the store. She adjusted my glasses after installing the lenses (which came out perfectly from the lab). The price was so much better than LensCrafters and the experience was also significantly better. Will continue to go back!

Not French you get real service anywhere anymore, but I did here at Stanton Optical. When I was first fitted for glasses they were wrong and I couldn't read fine print. I was upset and worried they wouldn't make it right. But the lady manager spent an hour with me taking the correct info and made it right. She made sure I was happy when I picked them up today. I love them.
Finally a store that has real customer service.

The optometrist was great. The tech Cameron was very knowledgeable with assisting me. Now the reason this location receives a liw star review is the manager she comes off nice but she is highly from nice. Her energy is only to get commission. She doesn't have the full knowledgeable if her job. She is very sarcastic to the customers trying to do it in a professional way. She is rude who tells a customer you are going to delete them out of there system. Who does not try to make sure the customer is pleased or satisfied not that manager. I will be make a full complaint with corporate.

Good luck getting a proper prescription. Even after a recheck and a 2nd set of glasses the right lens is still distorted and causes eye strain.
The eye doctor won't list, like most. Has no experience wearing glasses but thinks that he understands the lived experience of someone who's been wearing glasses for almost 30 years.
I came in with a small piece of paper detailing the issues and how moving the lens in certain ways alleviated them. He glanced at it and just went back to the "1 or 2" nonsense instead of trying to address the issues.
Absolutely incompetent. I modified my prescription myself based on experimentation with lens placement, ordered a pair from Zenni, and they're clearer than the both prescriptions I was given here.
And on top of that, they don't tell you that the retinal imaging costs extra money, they do it without your approval, and then they make up some excuse why it's necessary. Literally all I wanted was glasses and that's all I wanted to pay for. It should be my choice to opt out of anything additional.
