Unfortunately no longer happy with the service here. I've been there twice in the last 2 weeks and never able to complete my exam--first time they didn't move my appointment to their "new schedule," second time I showed up and was informed about a new acquisition making my copay much higher than before, which I declined. No one called to inform me ahead of time, and the receptionist's comment was, "Well aren't you glad we didn't just wait until after? We wanted patients to know up front." Up front would have been before I hired a babysitter for the second evening and wasted my time and money!

I was debating replacing my glasses because they were still in good condition and my prescription had only changed slightly. I asked the Optician to quote me new glasses. I told her to quote the same frame and lenses that I currently had. For some reason she decided that she needed to remove my lenses and broke my frame in two places trying to put the lenses back in. She then told me that my frame was out of warranty and that I would have to buy a new one if I wanted it replaced. I had to drive home with my glasses taped together able to see out of only one eye. All things considered, you would think that they would have expedited my new glasses. They did not. It took 38 days to get the replacement.

I was visiting from TN and was having symptoms of a detached retina. I called my former eye care specialist, who was out very sick and recommended Dr Hockemeyer's office. I called, explained my symptoms, and was able to be seen immediately.
I was given a thorough exam and was treated with the highest respect and concern. To my relief, I was not in danger. My diagnosis was thoroughly explained. I was given complete chart records for a followup visit in TN in a month, or at this office if I come back for another visit.
I HIGHLY recommend this office for their professionalism, thorough concern for their patients, and wonderful care I was given. Thank you so much!!!

Was felt very comfortable and very welcomed from the first step in the door. All the way from the front to the exit everyone answered any questions I had and very warm and friendly. Appreciate as I had procedures done she knew whether my insurance would cover or if I would be responsible. Remind you, I came in with a new insurance card and my wait time was minimal. They were very thorough and I felt I was in good hands. Set up my yearly exam without a question of whether to come back or not! Worth the 27 minute drive!
