Ossian Family Eye Care

Absolutely terrible. Scheduled an appointment for my son weeks in advance. On the day of the appointment I walked in to them saying it was cancelled by "his father" this morning. I said my husband never cancelled the appointment and gave my son's name again. They then said it's not Austin? I said no. (I said his name twice at this point). They put him back in and then after waiting 45 mins in the room after the appointment time. I stepped out to ask questions and the front desk lady asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said what I really want is an apology. She said she was sorry for the miscommunication, I said there was none on my part, I never called this morning. She said well the name was very similar. I said, I'm sorry, Austin and my son's name are not similar. She was like I'm not going to sit here and be yelled at. I told her I wasn't yelling but I would be more than happy to give an example of such ( not my finest moment but she sure tried my patience'). She then said there was no need to reschedule that I would not be coming back there. She did me a favor really but it was still shocking. How hard was it to have some accountability? She literally could have said, we made a mistake I'm so sorry, let us reschedule you because at this point you will be waiting a while. Terrible. The ophthalmologist may be outstanding but I never was able to even get that far. At least I can go home knowing I don't live with that woman, I'm sure her husband is always the one that's wrong.

Have nothing but great things to say about this office. Very prompt and thorough. So sad i moved 3 hours away bc it's hard to find a Dr & staff that treat you well. I also now work in the eye world and have a new found appreciation, seeing what goes on behind the scenes.

Dr. Schneider is very personable and professional. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Exams always go well and seem very thorough. We take the whole family, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this office.

Best eye care place in town! Super friendly staff. Doesn't feel like an eye appointment when you go in. I have ordered glasses and contacts and they come in really quick.

DONT TAKE YOUR BUISNESS HERE Waited nearly a month to see my physician, woke up before work and went to my appointment, responded to confirmation appointment message. After all this the doctor doesn't come in and no other health care physicians available.... I had a minor staphe infection which has now gone untreated for a month thanks to this office's poor management.

Spent $350 on Nike glasses that fall off my face they fix them last 5 mins they won't replace them I've only been wearing glasses for 4 years so this is my 3rd pair ever and by far the worst glasses ever would not recommend
