America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

This location started out okay. I've ordered at least 3 pair of glasses with no issues. However, this time recently my glasses came back incorrect. I came in and the doc made an adjustment, however the eye lens was still blurry. I am wondering what happened to the old doctor? They mentioned that I could come back in a couple of days, but who has the time? I would like a refund on the money I spent on a pair of glasses that don't work.

They have always gone the extra mile to make sure I was happy, my eyes also... My eyes always hesitate going there. But end up happy afterwards. Like I mentioned, they go out of their way to make sure my eyes are happy. I'm sure they'll do the same for yours...

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, especially Stephanie, the associate that helped me. Overall, the experience went very well! Dr. McGrath did a great job of explaining my options as this was my first time getting glasses.

I was very pleased with everything except the girl that Checked me out told me I had to buy frames. I couldn't just buy the lenses. I was hoping not to have the extra expense for something I really did not need.

This locations customer service has been spiraling downward for a few years now...when it first opened, they had a good staff, but things have changed. About 2 years ago it took them 3 times before they got the correct Transitions lenses for my glasses. THAT WAS THEN THIS IS NOW. Fast forward to today. They staff they have now probably deserves ZERO stars. They prescribed to the "less is best" customer service mindset. The unwillingness of the front end staff to own their own mistakes and the rudeness of the person who took me back to start the exam. ...and don't even bother asking about the 2 pair of glasses or prices in the advertisements, they don't exist. I was told it was for people who don't have insurance or need any upgrades on lenses or frames or anything. Decided to head down the block to LENSCRAFTERS. I received more assistance in one visit than I did in the last 5 years at America's Best. Do yourself a favor and AVOID THE PLAINFIELD LOCATION!!! My family of 5 had purchased at least 15 pairs of glasses over the last 5 years.....not any more!!!

I brought my 5 yr old daughter with me. I saw Faith for the pre test. She was amazing and did everything she could to make use comfortable. When my daughter was acting up she let her open the door to have more space and even offered her manager to watch her. My daughter calmed down once she could watch some videos on her phone. Faith was so kind and helpful and just an upbeat personality. I suggest this location :)

The store in Plainfield Indiana has the worst customer service. No one seems to know anything about anything. The Dr i saw was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rest of the staff has obviously never been trained properly. It has been over a week and they still have not sent the referral. The lady that answered the phone informed me to call back tomorrow to speak with the person that sent the referral. Never again will I go back to this place.

Well, my son broke his glasses. I should have got the extended warranty, but I didn't. and I came into the location where i purchased them Plainfield indiana Illy was the customer service representative that assisted me she didn't have to but she did took her time and fixed them for me I usually don't leave a review unless I'm complaining but she went above and beyond helping me out so thanks Illy.
