Dr. Kangas has always been an incredible mix of intelligence, competence, and kindness. Today was no exception. She saw me on short notice for an urgent problem (foreign body in eye) and demonstrated all the above qualities, and never once gave me any indication that I was disrupting her schedule or being a bother. I can only hope and pray that she never retires or if she does, leaves somebody similar in her wake.
