Dr Rolfes is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with on my eyes. He takes the time with each patient to give them the best sight possible. I have trusted him for years with our families eye sight and know he will always go above and beyond to care for us.

Things ok until I went to pick out glasses. The lady lied to me and said there has never been lists of what type of lenses to choose from and ordered the most expensive lenses they carried even after I told her that I've had problems with that material making me sick. I've worn glasses for over 40 years and only when the newer materials came out did I ever get sick. You put them on and you see better not get dizzy and practically throw up. They remade them after calling sams club where I told them that it wasn't the full set just the lenses to get the info about. They told me they that the new glasses they ordered were the same prescription and material that I was wearing when how could that be because they were thinner than what I had on besides the fact there was a big scratch on the lenses. And they made me sick! I even tried to " get used to them " but no change . I told her that I always chose the middle of the choices when choosing lenses better and thinner than basic but not the ones I knew I had trouble with she just wouldn't listen to me. The next time I went in the got the basic lenses or at least they were twice as thick as mine and when I put them on they still weren't right and the left eye was so wonky it made my eye feel tired. So a year has gone by and they say I need a new exam and I'm so fed up cause we the one time they never called to let me know and sometimes it would be weeks before I'd hear back when I left a message. I told them I was done and just wanted my money back almost 500$ and now they refuse saying they bent over backwards for me but if that girl would have just listened in the first place and not treated me like I was stupid (I've even worked for an eye dr before) none of this would have happened and my glasses wouldn't have cost that much to begin with! The previous glasses I got before this I lost 1 lens within a month of getting and they said I had to buy a new pair at full price and had them replaced at sams for under half the price! I hope this will help someone to not get suckers by them!

The Staff is friendly and extremely helpful and make your visit a fantastic experience! They do all they can to support you with the most from your insurance and also have a huge inventory of frames and options that others don't have. We drive an hour to go here because they make us feel so welcome! Highly recommend Boone Vision!!

The staff at Boone Vision is truly amazing, you can tell they really care about their customers happiness. The staff truly wants what's best for your eyes, and if you ever have any problems with your glasses they are always willing to help solve the problem. I used to were contacts 24/7 until Susan got me my first actual pair of nice glasses (Gucci's to be exact), I've never gone back to contacts since. I currently have 10 pairs (most eyeglasses and a couple prescription sunglasses) that I alternate with outfits. Whenever someone compliments my glasses or ask me where I got them I never hesitate to tell them I shop at Boone Vision Center. I will never shop anywhere else then Boone Vision and I'll never let anyone adjust my glasses other then the staff their.

Doctors visit was great. I really appreciated the insight from him. It was after that where things are not what they seem. Was quoted and shown glasses that definitely were not what I received. The initial pair is probably the worst pair of glasses I have ever had. They were scratched up within a few weeks. Lasted with them as long as I could before they were in pretty bad shape. My last pair of glasses from a place in Ankeny lasted me over 4 years before they were in the condition these were. When I called to check on a warranty the lady on the phone kept talking over me telling me not to scratch my eye under my glasses, which I never have ever done. I always remove them. I dont even think it has been a month there are scratches on these already. There is definitely not or ever was scratch protection on these. Order with caution, check your receipt and make sure what you were shown is what you get in the end.

I'm a truck driver that started wearing contacts. While doing a delivery nearby I got a contact stuck under my eyelid. I called Boone Vision and they let me come in right away. They removed the contact lens for a very reasonable price and even drove me back to my truck. These people go above and beyond and I was blown away by the courtesy they extended to me. If you need a place for vision related issues, be sure to check them out.

Everyone was so friendly. I appreciate the time and care I received while choosing my new glasses. They offered great advice to make sure that I would get the right fit and frame.

This place hands down is not your typical vision center... they continue to amaze me and I recommend them to anyone who's asking! They explain insurance coverages(whats covered/whats not). Every other place I have been to left me with the worst possible feeling since I always get a $200 bill for everything after already paying at the office.
