Peterson Eyecare

Dr. Peterson is a fantastic doctor and has always been kind and professional with me. What's making me give this office a 1 star is the fact that the reception office is absolutely horrible. I had been fighting with them for 5+ years to work with my insurance (when they saw me for years prior) and have made dozens of calls to my personal provider to fix the "issue" and my provider has fixed it - yet this office still refused to acknowledge that and help me despite my actual insurance giving them instructions on what to do to give me care. My provider told me to give this office a phone number and have them simply request to fax something over which would take only a minute - yet the front desk insisted that this was not possible (trying to use the excuse that they can't access my patient information legally even though I stated over and over my insurance advised that it was no issue to fax over a document) and said this ultimately was my problem... when I have already resolved my end of things in every possible way. This office is lazy and does not care about actually helping the public. I have yet to have a positive experience speaking with the people at their front desk - Paula, the office manager, in particular is insanely rude, unprofessional and impressively unhelpful. Unless you want the biggest headache of your life and to have your insurance information mishandled or at the very least misunderstood, I suggest you go elsewhere. I am thanking my lucky stars I'll never have to go back again. Edit: I called Walmart and scheduled an eye appointment with them today, same day. They said all of my insurance information is up to date, I simply need to sign a form - that my insurance provided them when they gave them a call - and I was good to go to be seen. I solved FIVE YEARS of problems with a SINGLE call to the location across the street. This office has absolutely NO VALID EXCUSE to have given me the runaround for so long. I implore you to avoid this location at all costs.

The people here are really nice and the service was really quick! I went in to replace my frames to my glasses and they were very understanding and they had no problem replacing them for me. I also really like how they made me feel welcome. I recommend this place to anyone with glasses or contacts.

Been going here for years.. got a new prescription but I couldn't see out of the glasses. I was told give it some time let my eyes adjust but nope still couldn't wear the 2 pairs of glasses and my exam was warranted time or whatever stupid excuse I got.. so I have to wait the year out or pay for a new exam out of pocket... me and the kids will not be coming back... 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Terrible experience. They put in two wrong lenses next door over at vision for less, two separate times. I have tried to put up with it. Let my eyes adjust. Bad idea. Now The Peterson eye clinic or whatever won't honor a new exam. After some time trying to let my eyes adjust, because maybe that was the problem, they haven't. So I called today, I'm now past the warranty on the exam. After only having screw ups on their neighbors end! I'm to the point where I know my prescription is wrong and I think the dr maybe had given the wrong prescription. So now I can't get my eyes correct, which should have happened in the first place. After months of failures and headaches and eye pain, I get told to bad. Figures, it's the just world we live in. To focused on money to give good customer service or make it right... and then to top it off.... They wanted to try to get me in later in the afternoon for a new exam on MY DIME! Like you gotta be kidding me. I'll never go back here

Although I was thrilled that the doctor upped my prescription to the point where I feel like I could see again. He would not discuss my Eye health with me at all. And I have several issues. Then when I went across to pick out my new frames. The women that were working in there were loud, obnoxious rude. They completely ignored me and the minute. They found out that I was there as a medicaid patient. They would not help me. There was not a pair of frames in that place that I would have paid for let alone accepted from my insurance. Then when a different supplier of glasses contacted them for my prescription so that I could get my glasses. They would not fax my prescription over until I threatened to call medicaid.

Excellent care. From the moment I arrived, I was treated in a friendly and professional manner by all staff members. Dr. Peterson took time to explain all the tests that were performed and showed me the photos of my eyes. When he was done, he provided me several different options regarding how I could proceed. He explained each option thoroughly and provided me great insight into the benefits of each option. It was clear that his only concern was my eye care and health. After I was done, the receptionist walked me next door to help expedite obtaining my glasses. Top notch from start to finish.

I went to the Peterson Eyecare clinic to pick up my contacts today. They told me they sent them back, because my prescription had expired. They failed to mention that when I ordered them a month ago, when they called me to pick them up a week ago and when they decided to send them back without calling me to tell me before I came in to pick them up. One of the ladies who worked there had the audacity to tell me that they gave me good service. What good service? I came in to pick up my contacts that I am out of for my left eye and they aren't here. I will be switching to a different eyecare provider that treats its customers with respect.
