I used Clear Lake Optometry for 20+ years and I don't recall ever once having a negative experience. My vision insurance changed two years ago and CLO Is no longer in my network. I have yet to be impressed with my new provider. I very much miss the feeling of being assured that my doctor is paying very close attention to my eyes and is documenting very well Everything she observed. The system here is very thorough. Hopefully someday they will be in network with my insurance.

You do not get an eye exam by an optometrist here, the front desk clerk does it ( she was very nice). I'm paying for an optometrist, shouldn't that person do the exam? When I finally did talk to her, after requesting her, she seemed to not know how to use the equipment and totally depended on the overworked, overwhelmed front desk clerk. I walked out very frustrated.
