Eye Associates

Called to get a consult for cataract surgery. Told they would take care of it. Four weeks later my call revealed nothing had been done. All I got was a brief apology only after I asked what happened. Of course no one knew or would admit to dropping the ball

The staff here is top tier especially front desk! I took so long deciding on what frames I wanted and not a single person made me feel bad! In fact, they were super helpful and friendly! One of them even helped me find really nice sunglasses (I hadn't even considered prescription sunglasses as an option!) HUGE shout-out to the front desk women for being the absolute best!!

I want to thank the staff of Eye Associates for going above and beyond to help a friend of mine who lost a nose piece on her glasses. We stopped into the Iowa City store to ask if they could help replace the nose piece even though the glasses had been purchased elsewhere. The staff quickly assessed the problem and proceeded to replace both nose pieces and adjusted the repair until my friend could see better than before we walked in. When we offered to pay they insisted it was free of charge! Everyone was gracious and kind, helping someone in need. Thank you all very much!!

Thank you to Matt Walker who repaired my glasses free of charge. He goes above and beyond. I have had all good experiences through my many years of going to Eye Associates and am very grateful for their great care of their clients.

I have a pair of glasses that I purchased back at the old location in Coralville probably 12-14 years ago. They still work well but I managed to break off the nose piece. I arrived without an appointment today at the new Coralville location. Drew and Carson immediately jumped into action to see what they could do to repair my glasses. After a bit of work, they called over to the Iowa City office and Matt said he thought he could help out. So off I go to the Iowa City office. Upon arriving Matt immediately saw me and went to work fixing my glasses. Less than one hour after arriving at the Coralville location I was on my way from the Iowa City office with a fully functional set of glasses. Your team was amazing! The people who greeted me at each location were friendly and helpful and Drew, Carson, and Matt were fantastic. I don't think that this kind of dedication to customer service gets the attention that it should. These three gentlemen are wonderful representatives of Eye Associates and the focus that you place on customer care.

Saw Dr Weihe & he was very caring & detailed in explaining my serious eye issue. Also, the front desk ladies & Dr Assistant was above & beyond great in their care. Ended up purchasing eyeglasses too, which was easy & I was helped with every step, again with great care & professional knowledge. So HAPPY I found this clinic.

Finding a good eye doctor is hard, hard enough that I drive here from two hours away. It's worth it. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. Frames aren't ridiculously marked up either.

When scheduling, they were very flexible and I didn't have to schedule an appointment very far in advance. For the appointment, I met with Renee and Dr. Wilhelm for a routine eye exam. They were both very professional and friendly, as was the front desk staff. The appointment started right on time and there wasn't a wait to see the doctor. The eye exam was thorough and I felt very informed about everything they were doing and the end results. I do not get glasses or contacts from them, so I can not comment on that part of the business.
