Wow. Dr. Neighbors is the best I've found in 20 years of needing corrective lenses. He finally hooked me up with contacts that corrected for my astigmatism. I was in (happy) tears after my exam. He was also very thorough and enthusiastically answered all my questions. Staff were all friendly and informative as well. I've definitely found my new eye doctor

I used to recommend them to other military families, but since Dr Petersma retired I can no longer do so. Dr Neighbors and his staff don't know how TriCare works and they are unwilling to work with you to be sure your visit is covered.

Worst experience I've ever had at an eye clinic. I would NOT WOULD NOT recommend going to this place in Altoona. First they charge a 4% service fee which can cause a huge headache when turning it into insurance. Second, when my glasses did arrive I tried the pair of Oakley glasses I ordered on only to have the frames break in 3 different pieces. Not a big deal things happen. They said they would order them again and have the order expedited. Following week comes along and no one had called me so I called the store to see how long it would take for them to come in (frustrated of course). They proceeded to tell me that the glasses were back ordered and that they have no idea when they will come in. They didn't bother to call me and tell me they were back ordered. so when I asked why they didn't call me the representative gave me attitude. At this point I asked for a manager to call back to get a refund. When the manager from Johnston location called back they accused me of threatening the staff when all I said was if they didn't email my refund receipt then I'm going to come down in person to get it. Again I would avoid the headache, and customer service they offer at this place. People and places like this should not be in business! Bad customer service is one thing, I'm used to it, and you see it everywhere, but wanting to call the cops and accusing me of threatening the staff because I want a refund/receipt is where I draw the line. Service and businesses that have people like this representing them should be reprimanded!

It cost me twice as much to buy two pairs of glasses with insurance compared to when I bought two pairs of glasses without insurance elsewhere. Not only are they expensive, they schedule appointments on my behalf without my knowledge or consent. I continue to tell them No and their emails don't let me unsubscribe.

I had been a customer for over 10 years. This place has really gone downhill since Dr Petersma retired. I recently went in to have a replacement for a nose pad that had fallen of my eyeglasses that were only 1 year old. They let me know that they did not have that in stock and no longer carried the brand of frames and could do nothing for me. l suppose they wanted me to spend another 400 dollars on new frames. A quick internet search when I got home allowed me to get what I needed no thanks to Metro Eye Care. I will no longer go back.

I had a very pleasant experience at Metro EyeCare. It was a smooth process from the eye exam, to the eyeglass selection, and the purchase of glasses. The staff were very kind and helpful.

I wish i could give a 0 i was never a patient but i had visited every office and i wasnt satisfied. The manager is VERY rude and when i look at these reviews. All these 5 star reviews seem generated and fake. If u look at the lowest ratings there are more likes on those with people agreeing. I dont trust these people, they will only treat their long time clients way better than any new one. I just cant with Metro Eyecare, find a better Eyecare place that every single employee seems to care and would like help. This place is a mess.

mToday I had my annual eye check up. Selvedin started the exam with some of their new high tech machines that are like an MRI for your eyes. He was extremely patient with me and very thorough. Then I got to meet the new Dr. U who was also very impressive. They are very good at communicating and I would recommend to anyone!! A+++ service. I have not checked out the eyewear but after my last experience online I think I will next time. Thanks Metro Eye Care !!
