Le Mars EyeCare

I had an amazing experience at Le Mars EyeCare. I recently moved from the Sergeant Bluff location, but continued seeing Dr. Uhl, and the transition was seamless. The entire appointment flowed smoothly -- I felt like I was always moving and never stuck waiting around. The staff was incredibly friendly. Cerina was so kind and welcoming while getting me prepped, and Dr. Uhl is as personable as ever. Even with multiple clinic locations, he remembered who I am, which truly says a lot about the care he provides. I especially want to thank Jill for her patience and attention to detail. I have an uncommon insurance plan and have had providers get it wrong in the past. Not only was she completely accurate, but she also caught a plan change I wasn't even aware of this year and worked with me while I verified everything. She truly met me where I was at, and I appreciated that more than I can say. What an outstanding visit. I can't wait to continue my eye care here for years to come. Would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a new provider!!

I was absolutely pleased with the staff, they are extremely helpful and very friendly. Dr Lancaster is in my opinion the best, curious eye doctor in our area. He will explain in detail any issue you may have and the treatment he recommends. He's very through.

Wonderful office and quick appointments. The staff are so nice. My glasses also came in 6 days, which was great. I also felt the prices were better than some of the other places around town. The office is large, they have a ton if glasses to try on, and it's clean. Dr. Lancaster is awesome as well. He gave me the same script as my last dr, which I think is spot on. Overall, wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone.

I've had eye exams every year since I was 6, and I've NEVER had an experience like I had with Dr. Lancaster and Le Mars Eye Care! The office is beautiful, super friendly staff, TONS of options for eyewear, and fully stocked to allow me to leave with contact trials! Dr. Lancaster is super at explaining things and answering questions. His exam and tests leading up to it were VERY streamlined and thorough! I'd give 10 stars if I could!!!

Le mars eye care has Wonderfully kind staff and good service but that's where the good on my list ends. In order to receive your pair of glasses the lenses are sent to them from another location adding a 1-2 week wait time. Not that big of a deal right? Well if it wasn't one of the only eye care places around this area I'm almost certain they wouldn't be around. Competing companies have significantly lower wait time for lenses, during my time in Tennessee you could go to the eye doctor and afterwards pick out frames and come back in an hour and a half and be good to go with your new glasses. But hey that's just 'city folk stuff' people around here so things differently and by differently I mean slow, inefficiently and with out dated methods. To sum it up, wonderful people working there that's for sure but when it comes to getting frames and lenses just use glasses USA, 3-5 day shipping for free and right to your door .
