Friendly welcome, when you walk in. Staff very friendly. Dr. Briggs is very caring.

2 out of 3 front desk staff were not wearing masks during a global pandemic. One of those 2 had one "on" but it was down on her chin below her mouth. Great experience with Dr. Mullally. Poor selection of glasses available for my insurance.

This message is for Dr. Michael. My son is neurodivergent, he has a speech/communication delay and struggles following unclear directions, these issues directly impact the way he understands directions and whether or not he knows his alphabet. Dr. Michael called my son "trouble" and shamed him/inadvertently me as his homeschool teacher for not being able to name all of the letters he was shown as if an optometrist has any idea what my neurodivergent 5 year old should be capable of. He wasn't showing him these letters to test his vision, he just wanted to see if he was capable of it. It was very inappropriate and made me extremely uncomfortable. I hope Dr. Michael considers that not all children learn and understand things as easily as others and his attitude towards my child was inappropriate and arrogant. Based on the way he acted shaming small children must be a normal thing for him and I can't be the only parent he's ever made uncomfortable. I pray he takes this message and does better from here on out.

I called and asked for verification that my vision insurance would cover it. Tentatively made an appointment, and received no call back (as promised). Before treatment I asked if this would be vision insurance, was told yes. After treatment, it was coded as medical. Clean and professional care, billing is deceptive. I won't be back.
