Mijangos Optometry

Great facility with friendly/helpful office staff. Dr Sergio Mijangos is a great guy. Communicates well regarding any issues you have. Answers all questions asked. Only issue is they don't accept or aren't set up with insurance but they'll give you an itemized copy of visit for your records or to send to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Well, that's how I did it to get reimbursed for the one exam insurance pays for each year. Anyway great clinic overall. In and out fast.

Dr. Mijangos is an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable doctor that seems to genuinely care about his clients. The rest of the staff I don't know by name, but they are also always friendly and willing to help, even helping out over the phone with my prescription to make sure I was ordering the correct lenses. Besides all this, the service is one of the most affordable that I've found and there is no pressure from the staff to purchase overpriced frames from them.

Dr. Mijangos is absolutely incredible. He is down to earth, personable, and kind. He presents an at home type of feeling when you're in his office. He truly does care for his patients. I can't recommend this place enough. Front office staff are friendly and sweet as well.

The Dr was awesome! Easy going, and down to earth with a great sense of humor! He took the time to explain to me why I had been getting sick wearing my old glasses (from somewhere else) AND got me into contacts (even though I had been told elsewhere I was not a good candidate for contacts). I'm not sick wearing the contacts and I can see!!! My 8 yr old son also had an exam and asked lots of questions which both the assistant and the doctor answered patiently, and even seemed to enjoy! Kudos to these guys, we will be back!

Dr. Mijangos is the best! He is so friendly and is the only Dr who had ever been able to get my prism right. I have to have really high prism in my glasses and no other Dr has ever been able to get it right. He knows what he's doing. I recommend him every time!

After finishing my 30 day trial contact lenses ,I wanted to switch back to the Oasis.. my eyes get to dry with the monthlies. So when I went into tell them I didn't like the monthlies and wanted to change back to the Oasis , the front desk told me they had to wait for the Doctor to get back from vacation. I told them that was fine and returned the following week. When I arrived the front desk argued with me about having to pay the $30 for changing lenses prescription. I tried to explain the situation to them but they refused and blamed it on me. Once it was my turn, the eye doctor was very sweet and kind. He didn't bring up anything about the 30 days, all he said was I'm so sorry and no worries about the $30 charge, I just want you to be happy. He double checked everything and gave me a big bottle of eye solution since he knows my eyes get so dry( a newer brand that should help with this problem). After placing my contact order, it was the doctor that told me they will be shipped directly to my home. The Secretaries are very RUDE! Eye rolls and arguing with customers isn't good customer service. The only reason I will go back is because of the doctor himself. He does a great job and has great people skills.

Hands down, Dr. Mijangos is the BEST. It's awesome when someone is so excited about what they do - he totally geeks out on eye health. I trust him 100%. If you aren't already his patient, you should be. You won't regret it.

I can't say enough positive things about the entire office and quality of customer service. Dr. takes his time with you and is very informative. Wonderful place. We've been seeing Dr. Mijangos for years and so grateful for that!
