Meade Family Eye

I enjoyed the eye doctor very much; however, the office practices were extremely frustrating. Under federal law, patients are required to receive a copy of their prescription immediately after the exam. This is an automatic release and does not depend on whether frames or lenses are purchased in-office. When I informed staff that I would not be purchasing glasses there, I was told they could not provide my prescription because the doctor "had not signed off on it yet." I asked how long this would take and was told it might be completed by the end of the day--or that I would need to return the following day. Given that my drive for this appointment is almost an hour, being asked to return for something I was legally entitled to receive immediately was unacceptable. This policy needs to be addressed.

The service I got at Meade Family eye was hands down absolutely amazing. Friendly staff and environment I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs your eyes checked or as in my case something stuck in your eye they were Great!

My wife took our 13-year-old son for eye exam in Brandenburg office. She had a very bad experience. Bad customer service, poor selection of glasses and overpriced. We try to support our local business but this is not a way to run your business. They won't ever see us again.

Very nice and receptive. Was needing my yearly exam and was tired of the big eye places that just push you through. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable as well as informative on what they were doing as we went. The Dr was a bit concerned about my eyes and didn't push more test but recommended them, either from them or another optician. I've had 3 visits and I think I'm near time for my next exam and as long as they accept my new insurance I will be going back.

All the staff were so friendly and professional. I would recommend them to everyone.

The desk people were so nice and courteous. The eye examiner was making remarks that disgust me. Her behavior was despicable and very ugly.

Called over a month ago and whoever answered, didn't schedule me correctly. Receptionist was short because I questioned whether the next appointment would be honored, the last was not. Frustrating!

I have now met with every one of the staff and both doctors here. I couldn't be happier with the level of care that these wonderful people have taken for just one set of eyes. I have had a reoccurring eye infection and they have seen me without issue every time I've called on them. They see me, same day, and with the same concern about my eyes that I have. They don't just provide the best glasses possible, they provide the best possible eye health also. It's wonderful to have them here in Brandenburg too! Thank you so very much Dr.Mary Emmick and staff.
