If I could have left 0 stars I would have! This guy needs to retire! He certainly doesn't need to work with small children, he has zero patience! He was constantly telling my 5 year old grandchild, who was only asking curious questions that a 5 year old 1st time going to the eye doctor might ask, to be quiet, to play quiet as a mouse, at one point even told her she was making him nervous! Her mother was with her, she also had an appointment with this dr. She is a diabetic and has been living and dealing with this disease since age 7 and she has bad eyes due the disease! He had the audacity to tell her that she must not have any one advocating for her health, because if his daughter had a high hgA1c that they would be doing everything they can to bring it down! Little does he know that she see the best of the best doctors and always has! He is very opinionated and kept asking personal questions that had nothing to do with the eyes! Rude is too kind of a word for his behavior! She had appointments scheduled for Her other two children and those are being canceled! If you have small children, please reconsider this guy!

Dr. Sutherland has been our family eye doctor for 8 years. We have had wonderful experiences every time we see him. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with friendly smiles and hellos from his staff. He is very thorough and explains exactly what he is doing. He makes sure you understand everything before you leave. I highly recommend him.

If I could give this man 0 stars I would. My wife went there a few years ago, and he was extremely rude, unprofessional, and after a visit to a reputable optometrist, didn't have the intelligence to check to see if my wife had an astigmatism. Don't go here, go anywhere else.

This guy needs to retire! He has lost sight of what is important with the practice.
