Very good dr done my eye surgery and I felt better about myself

Had my last appointment there about 3 weeks ago and I will not be going back. The process of being treated by the doctor and technician were amazing. I saw Dr. Emily and she was very sweet. The technician I saw was very informative and explained my eye health to me while he was looking at them which I liked as my other eye doctor does not do that. There is, however, a reason for my one star review and that is the office manager, Billie. My husband has been going to this office his entire life so I figured that I would just switch optometrists to make things easier on us. He scheduled both of our appointments for the same day and time. We had 2 different appointments: an initial where we ordered our glasses and were fitted for contacts, and then a follow up to see if the contacts were working. At the first appointment Billie checked my husband in when she saw him, I am assuming she recognized him, and then I told her I had an appointment as well and told her my name and gave her my insurance cards. I am on Humana insurance which is important for the story. Billie began to make small talk to my husband about his health insurance because it was not going to cover the entirety of his appointment but mine was. Billie then said something along the lines of "yea, we can work our entire lives away for poor health insurance but people like this don't have to work and they get this insurance" and then she pointed at my health insurance card. This comment offended me since it felt like she was taking jabs at me for having government funded insurance when she does not even know me as a person. But I am non confrontational so I let it be. The follow up appointment was so much worse. I was treated very poorly. My husband and I walk in, Billie smiles and says "I will get you guys checked in". She checks my husband in but not me. During this time she is very sweet to my husband. She gets his glasses and prescription for him without him having to ask and is just in general making small talk to him. It is not until we have waited and they have called my husband back that she looks at me and in a rude tone says "Um do you have an appointment?" I tell her yes and tell her my name and she gets me checked in. She then asks me if I brought my contacts. I tell her no because no one told me to and I had never been to a follow up appointment so I did not know that they wanted my contacts. She then gets very rude with me and raises her voice saying "Well you should have. That's literally what you're here for today. You just won't get seen then". I tell her that's fine because the contacts were not bothering me. I then waited a few minutes and asked her for my glasses since she didn't seem interested in getting them for me like she did my husband. She said yes and brought me over to get fitted for my glasses. It is at this point that she starts calling me by my maiden name, which is what is on my insurance card, instead of my married name which is what she had been calling me by this entire time. She did not give me my prescription and I forgot to ask for it unlike my husband. My husband's appointment ended and we left. I do not know why she treated me the way that she did when she treated my husband extremely kindly. I am pregnant and married to a gentleman that has been going there for years, that's the only things she knows about me. Was she mad at me for this or because I'm on Humana insurance? Idk. I tried to file a complaint through their official website but was never contacted so I figured I would make a review to let people know.
