This was a great experience all around. A clean and organized facility and friendly staff. However Dr. Kitchens was the difference maker. Knowledgeable and approachable, he answered every question I had candidly and honestly. I appreciated that, even though the answers weren't always unicorns and rainbows. This was my first visit here. I was treated very well and all the testing went without having to wait. I was there an hour that's it! Dr Kitchens was very thorough and friendly, explained things very very well. I would definitely recommend them. Only complaint is I had to have my eyes dilated and had to drive to Lexington and they stayed dilated from 10 in the morning till six at night. I guess this was something they had to do to see if there was anything wrong. No complaints really.

Everyone that worked with my elderly mother was very patient, kind, and respectful. Each person provided easy instructions to her when performing the exams. Dr. Kitchens was very informative regarding all the results, what to watch for and what to report back to them. Also, what the plan is going forward. Dr. Kitchens is so nice. He talked to me in a way I understand exactly what he was saying. He asked questions that made me feel like he really wants to help me and do what I'm comfortable with. He gave me options and allowed me to ask questions so I understood what my options involved. He is the same now as he was 10 years ago when he did eye surgery on me. I would not want anyone else to take care of my eye problems.
