Southeast Eye Associates

I had an absolutely amazing experience with southeast vision associates. All of the staff is very patient and friendly. My technician Avery, was so kind and helpful in teaching me how to put in and remove my contacts as a first time user. Dr. Gibbons was very professional and knowledgeable during my exam, and was over the top helpful in answering any questions I had. Dr. Barnes was also able to help with initially putting in my contacts and was again very professional and compassionate. The atmosphere here is great, I will definitely be highly recommending this place to friends! Thank you Southeast vision!

Amazing experience from beginning to end. I love my glasses and I can finally see. The staff and the doctor are so nice. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended very friendly staff and professional thanks

At the clinic for an initial examination with no previous history at the location. During the visit no member of the staff notified me of their credentials or position during my visit (during this time I saw 3 different individuals). I was told the "doctor" would be in to see me at the end of my visit and quickly 3 minutes later was alerted that I would not be seeing the physician on an initial evaluation. If in this situation I was given a reasonable explanation as to why this decision rapidly changed I likely would have not taken issue if I knew the qualifications of the provider I saw and if it was for routine lens prescription. However, I came in seeking answers to recent visual changes and pressure changes that were and still are acute in nature. Went to the clinic after having recent significant changes in mentation, problem solving, and visual changes in which my eyes were unable to focus resulting in significant difficulty with daily activities as well as a significant pressure behind one eye more than the other in the medial portion of the right eye. I was offered no differential diagnosis's to the problem and education on the symptoms of dry eye. While this likely is an appropriate conservative recommendation I am unable to have confidence in this recommendation as I am still unaware of the individuals qualifications to give education and diagnosis on this issue. Two stars because the technician that did the pressure check within my eye and the front receptionist were very helpful and kind.

First time here, The entire staff was extremely Professional. I was in need of some new glasses and a back up pair and they have all sorts of styles to choose from. At the time of choosing my glasses I could hardly see and the optician who helped me took the time to look through the all of the styles of glasses to see which best fit me and nailed it! Needless to say I am happy with this place and I look forward to coming back. This place deserves more than a 5 star rating!

Had an issue with my eye develop suddenly. It took two weeks to get an appointment. When I arrived for appointment, there was no place to sit. I couldn't stay do to another appointment and was told I would have to reschedule by unfriendly receptionist. I asked receptionist if I could talk to nurse and was told no one was available. I waited a few more minutes and left. Also, you have to take them your insurance information before they will confirm your appointment. The receptionist are great at getting that insurance information!

This was our first visit to Southeast Eye Associates and we were made to feel as if we were part of their family. They took their time and explained all of the procedures that they were conducting and made us feel very comfortable. Excellent place to visit, family atmosphere and amazing service.

Everyone at Southeast Eye Associates have always been nice and courteous, doing a good job of getting the prescription correct on my eyes and my husband's eyes. You don't have to wait a long time on your appointment, and on our most recent visit, the new lady who helped us pick out our frames was very sweet and pleasant, taking plenty of time with us to make sure we understood everything.
