Dr Brown and staff are wonderful! Dr Brown is knowledgeable, explains things clearly and compassionate. His staff is equally caring and efficient. Could not ask for a better doctor.

Doctor Brown himself has always seemed nice and professional. His office staff however is the result of this review. Rude does not even come close to what I have experienced. He was highly recommended when I was looking for a doctor in the area, however after the last 3 months of being treated this way I am looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Brown is the BEST around. He's treated me very good. He remembers me and my family each time we go. He literally asks me how my family is each visit because they are a lot of diabetics. He's awesome not just as a doc but as a person! Staff also has been good to me and my family...

I have been taking my Mom to Dr.Brown for years.He is a great Dr.but even more than that a great person.During the time we have been going my Dad passed away,He treated Mom and also comforted her. Today she had another follow up visit.He couldn't understand why the bleeding had stopped behind her eyes but her sight wasn't better.But Mom had had 2 strokes since he had last seen her and had forgotten to tell him.She really wasn't feeling well today and he and his staff went out if the way to treat her..not as just a patient but also as a person.He has always told her he loved her and today was no different ..also before we left his office today he had her added to a prayer chain.I love the way he cheers my Mom up when sometimes it takes everything in her to even go to the Dr...would recommend him to anyone...he has done everything possible for my Moms eyes..sometimes you have to treat the whole person and could not ask for anyone to do it any better...Thank You Dr. Brown.

I regret to say that I was unable to see Dr. Brown. Apparently his staff only accepts calls from select referring doctors. My doctors office tried for 3 days to contact his office to no avail. My doctor's office calls were not answered; however when you call from another number (that doesn't not identify the specific doctors office calling), then the phone is answered by the staff. I have never encountered such a problem as this with scheduling to see a specialist. The staff represents Dr. Brown in a very unprofessional way to say the very least. When I called back to ask them if they accepted referrals from my doctor and explained the problem of them not answering my doctors office phone calls, but will answer all numbers that do not identify my referring physician (which is how my doctors office was finally able to schedule my appointment, via a cell phone), the lady became very defensive, interrupted me, and said an appointment had been scheduled, and if I had a problem then I should take it up with my physician and hung up on me. I will not be seen by a physician whose staff discriminate against whose patients they will schedule and whose they will not schedule--- or put off (by not answering the referring physician'c calls) for so long that a patient has no choice be to seek medical attention elsewhere. The attitude and crude and rude behavior demonstrated by the staff that answers calls is intolerable and reflects so poorly on Dr. Brown that I have sought the care of another specialist. Therefore my rating (the lowest possible) is a reflection of the employees who answer the phone and not Dr. Brown himself.

Dr. Brown gets a rating of five stars PLUS! Unfortunately, since changing over to the UK network, you can't get through to the office, and if you're lucky enough to get through, 4 times out of 5, you are treated unprofessionally. Can't get calls through, especially at the end of the day. Shame because Dr. Brown is AMAZING!

Doctor, lovely...staff however are rude, inconsiderate and love to change appointments and not inform the patient of the change. I would advise a call to verify before going, especially if you're driving over an hour.
