Everyone here is great! Best eye Drs I've ever saw. Very thorough and explained everything in detail (diabetic exam). The nurses and receptionist are wonderful as well and if glasses won't help yet they will tell you so you can wait. Very helpful finding glasses when it's time with a great selection. Highly recommend!

Dr. Regina Compton is absolutely the best !!! She has gone above and beyond for me in helping me receive the correct prescription and fitting for my contacts, which has turned out to be quite tricky for one of my eyes. But, she has not given up ! Her staff is always friendly, courteous, and very helpful !

I have been a patient of Family Eye Care for several years. In 2020 I had significant vision issues due to eye stress because of too much "screen time" due to my workload. Dr. Compton and her staff were able to get me in immediately when I called that I was having vision issues and had follow up appointments to try to get my vision back on track due to overuse. They have always been wonderful but were exceptionally helpful during a time when I was having issues.

I live in Prestonsburg, Ky. And i drive to Pikeville simply because I want the best. Dr. Regina Compton has on several occasions gone above and beyond for me when I have had vision problems. I have gone to Family Eye Care Professionals when they first opened, and I was a patient of Dr. Regina Compton for years prior to that. Dr. Regina Compton and the entire staff are friendly and most accommodating and will do everything within their power to make sure your visit is a wonderful experience and that you are satisfied with with their products and service. During my last visit Dr. Compton discovered a problem with one of my eyes and because of her skillful examination and diagnosis she most likely prevented the loss of my vision in that eye. I would never consider going another optometrist. Dr. Compton, you are the best.

I've been coming here for years and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. They are all so kind and helpful & the doctors are amazing. They help you in every way possible & always do what's best for you. Best eye doctor you could ever go to!

The staff and doctor were extremely kind and helpful. I understand that during this post pandemic it seems like just about everyone is short tempered and mad and are hard to please. I for one appreciate Family Eye Care for their expertise and professionalism.

As a patient at Family Eye Care for several years, I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff, professionalism, and Dr. Compton herself. I always feel welcomed and taken care of at FECP!

The staff is extremely rude, and this was the first time I'd been to an eye doctor and needed glasses. I told them I has trouble seeing when driving, so they fix my glasses just for driving, never considering that I might need to look down at the digital gauages, which so many new cars have these days. When I called to get a follow-up visit, every single staff member tried to convince me that I was wrong and to just take them off when I needee to read. That's not very good advice while driving. Beth was the worst one and had me sobbing, honestly, uncontrollably. I paid over $400 for glasses and this was how I was treated. The doctor said she was sorry, but never had the offending adult apologize or said she would be punished. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER FOR $400.00
