Williamson Eye Center of Baton Rouge

First time there. The young ladies at front desk very short & cold. No warm, friendly vibes here. They would ask a question and cut me off mid answer. Dr was very nice, very open to questions and concerns. Now, the optical side: Very slow, nobody spoke. After seeing them lock the front door, and slowly getting through the other patients, the beach blonde lady (not Karen) finally came to me and asked was I there for optic. Me: yes, this is where the young ladies told me to go after my eye exam. She proceeds to tell me that they normally don't see ppl after 4:30. Me: Well, do your coworkers know that because it's my 1st time here and my appointment was at 3:30. Her: *shrugs* But, it's fine come on..I know it's fine because ya'll policy has NOTHING to do with me..so, next time there is a meeting, make sure everyone is on one accord about the final patients, at closing. But, I won't let a few bad eggs stop me from returning...YET. Dr Davidson saved them.

The staff are all very cordial and professional from the time you check in, during your visit, through the time you check out. The atmosphere in the office is very relaxed and pleasant. I have been to the office 3 times in one week due to an upcoming surgery and every time, I was greeted and made to feel welcomed. Actually, the third appointment was not really related to the surgery. It was an eye issue that presented itself and I didn't have an appointment for this but upon going to the office, I was worked into the schedule so that I could see a doctor. Update: My first surgery went great. It was as explained to me by the doctors. Everyone was professional and caring, as usual. The follow up appointment was just as excellent. Now waiting for my upcoming surgery on my other eye, which I'm anticipating to be just as successful as the first. Update #2: Second surgery done and was just as successful as the first. Once again, I can't express enough how the staff here are very professional and caring. Now for the recovery stage.

I did not have an appointment. I called the office with a situation that could have been serious. I was given an appointment right away. The doctor that I saw was very concerned about my condition. The nurse that help me was fantastic. I am grateful to be a patient at Williamson Eye Clinic

I had my ICL done in this facility by Dr. Patrick and recover really well post-op. Staff are super nice and warm. This is the first time in my life having surgery and they hugged me told me don't worry we'll be here with you. I love this place! Dr. Patrick is also fantastic and compassionate. He provided great support and pre-op evaluation.

I've been going here since I was 12. In an appointment a year ago there was a miscommunication and they forgot to give me my contacts that I paid a $60 fitting fee for. Since my sight didn't change I guess it was just overlooked by the doctor to explain to the other employees. Thank god I was able to come back and explain to optical, and got a pair. The doctor has since moved as well, and my new optometrist is amazing. A year ago I wouldn't have given them a great review but they now deserve all the stars now <3

From the beginning the staff was great and explained everything and Dr Blake Williamson was great. The procedure was very straightforward and the results so far are amazing. I highly recommend Williamson Eye. I thought I would be stuck with contacts and glasses the rest of my life and the EVO ICL procedure I had has changed that and more. My vision is clearer and sharper then ever.

My wife had her cataract surgery done at the Williamson Eye Center a few years back and were very satisfied and impressed with their level of kindness expertise, professionalism, and making sure we understood how everything would be accomplished. My experience today was no different. I need the surgery and am 100% confident in the experience and outcome I will have.
