Accent Vision Care

My experience was fantastic! The office is clean and looks newly renovated. The staff is all around exceptional. The Doctor is kind, patient, and thorough. The examinations are very informative. I like larger frames and was surprised to see they had a nice variety. Selecting my frames was easy! Would highly recommend.

All the doctors and assistants were great and answered any and all questions I had and also were great when it came to educating me. Only draw back was the price of glasses. Idk if it's the same everywhere bc this was my first encounter with getting glasses but $1,288 for their cheapest pair of rectangular glasses seems really steep to me and my exam before insurance is crazy. I paid $426 out of pocket for 1 pair of glasses and the exam. Overall good experience but will definitely not go back for glasses .

Dr. Uong's care is excellent -- after two years of unsuccessful treatment elsewhere, she was the first to bring me real relief. She's professional, kind, and explains everything clearly. I will miss her. Unfortunately, Accent Vision's financial transparency is poor and cost me about more than expected (47% on scans). I was told several times my insurance was accepted, but charges said otherwise -- for example, a $30 scan was billed at $44. We made many calls to get answers. You're also walked straight to their eyeglass sales area after the exam, which feels like part of the appointment but isn't. You can always ask for your prescription and leave. I highly recommend Dr. Uong herself, but Accent Vision's billing and sales practices need serious improvement.

The Dr visit was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Found out my insurance doesn't cover anything had to pay some money for my glasses and contacts.

The dry eye treatment protocol that Dr Harris and Dr Devillier have instituted with Optilight, TempSure Envi, and Scleral lens, have improved my eyesight and overall eye health and eye comfort. I am so grateful for trusting this incredible team. My eyesight health and wellness and that of my family are remarkably protected and preserved. So much of our means of communication, some say over 70%, is non verbal. I wear glasses and wanted contacts so I made a contact appt. Not a glasses appt. They called and told me the price was 220$ when I get to my appt they proceed to tell me that the 220$ don't cover the contact part. That's separate and can range 150$ or more. I tell them I only wanted to contact appt. They then tell me they do both together but I have to pay the 220$ and I can come back and do the contact exam and pay the other part. I'm still not understanding y after I I scheduled a contact appt and told them more than once I ONLY wanted a contact appt, they still make me do a regular eye exam trying to make me think I have to do one before the other. If I had to do the eye exam before the contact exam then I should not have been allowed to even schedule the contact exam by itself.

Not very happy with my experience there. Things were added to my eye glass prescription that were not discussed. The person checking me out could not explain charges/claims for my visit. Kept saying it was too hard to explain. Very pushy to purchase items there. Was told eyeglasses would be in in a week to week and a half...almost 2 weeks and still not in.

My experience was one of my first errands of the day and my BEST. Everyone that I came in contact with, made me feel that I was the only patient there & that my welfare was just as important to them as it is to me. The doctor explained my condition so I could understand & recommend solutions for relief. AWESOME VISIT that I carried with me all day. I will definitely return to this facility in the future.
