The Eye Clinic

I thought they were good but they have rescheduled my appointment 3-4 times now. I can only come to one of 2 conclusions and neither are good. Gives me yet another reason not to like Louisiana.

Today I had an eye exam done by Dr. Primeaux, from the moment she walked in the room she was extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. I felt like my presence bothered her from the start. She had no answers to any of my questions after she mentioned how significant my vision had declined and my eyes had worsened. She didn't even update on my actual eye health or any possible options that could be beneficial to my situation at all. She rushed the whole process and walked out as I was in the middle of asking questions saying that I could talk to her assistant. Her assistant was very patient, polite and helpful as well as the front desk assistants. I just do not recommend her at all. If you go there ask for Dr. Kindler instead.

EYE CLINIC MOSS BLUFF Went today to do my post-op appointment, the front desk lady was nice and courteous and very helpful with me. The assistants super nice and efficient. THE DOCTOR on the other hand, comes into the examination room with an expression on her face as if I was not worth her time, she doesn't even say "Good Morning" or introducing herself, grabs a bottle of drops (which I assumed I had to tilt my head back) puts the drops in, then places something in my eye, proceeds to throw this item, whatever it was, away. Then, orders me to place my purse in the arm rest of my chair and tells me to rest my chin on the examination device, I had to clean it, by the way, checks my eye, gets up and said everything looks good and leaves the room. When I checked out I asked the lady in the front if the papers said anything about me being released to drive, she said "oh you had to ask the doctor when you were in the room" to which I said "she wasn't too nice" then she went to ask her. I have been going to the Eye Clinic for years and have no complaints about their physicians or their establishment and their staff what so ever. This bad review is about the PHYSICIAN DR. HANUDEL at the MOSS BLUFF OFFICE that saw me today.

The eye test was a joke. Very unprofessional people. We won't come back anymore. The woman behind the desk was trying to cancel our 3 appointments because we arrived 15 min late. She was very disrespectful and racist. We had to ask other employees to talk with the doctor to have the test. Once there, the assistance took 1 minute test, and at the end, they gave us the expired sample of eye drops.

Yup! Just lost a client! Went in for my appointment and the lady behind desk wanted to argue with me that I didn't have one....then she tried to say they canceled it.. then I pulled up my call log....I did NOT receive a call, voicemail or text. I'm all about saying you're sorry if you screw up but she wanted to argue with me about it. Who'd she talk to and leave a message with, a ghost???? I don't think I've ever been that mad at a receptionist! They were probably lazy and just put a note in the computer that they did call. That's a trick a receptionist will do! Never again!

Very friendly staff from the point I was greeted until I walked out the door. Doctor Primeaux seemed to do a good job as well. Time will tell when I get my new glasses. Their frame selection wasn't the greatest so I'm still searching for frames. Overall it was a good appointment.

My wife and I have been here a few times and are usually pretty happy with the service... until now. They told me I needed a new prescription for my lenses and they sent off my frames to have them switched out. When my frames came back, they were broken. They did not offer to make things right, in fact, they told me I signed a waiver releasing them from any responsibility. I looked through my paperwork and cannot find any such waiver. Even if that was the case, they should have contacted the company who broke the frames to try and make things right for me--a paying customer. I know in small claims court a waiver holds no water. The company is still responsible for merchandise that they ask you to surrender to their care, so a waiver is worthless, even if there is one. They told me my only solution was to buy a new pair of frames for $160. What?? I could tell this employee could have cared less and was not interested in making things right. I'm going to go back on Monday and talk to somebody else and see if they do the right thing or not, and then I will update this review. If they don't, I will definitely pursue this further until my glasses are fixed free of charge. I would definitely steer clear of a company who flat out doesn't care about the customer!!! Talk about bad business!

Great experience for me. Dr. Primeaux was great and my new glasses are great!
