Doctors and staff at the Raceland location are very thorough and provide excellent care for me and my family. I truly appreciate the small-town feel and the warm, family-oriented environment. They will fit you in for emergencies also. Highly recommend you visit this location for all your eye-care needs!

Dr. Collins was great. Took his time and was very thorough. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good eye doctor. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I really like the new location also.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Collins. He has an excellent bedside manner -- very patient, friendly, and easy to talk to. He took his time to be thorough with my exam and answered all of my questions without rushing me. I felt really cared for during the entire visit. Best of all, I left with a prescription that has made a big difference for my vision. Highly recommend!

Attention: Raceland, Mathews, Lockport and beyond; if your Medicare is through People's Health ... DON'T go to CHIASSION EYE CARE. First, I made my appointment and told them my insurance was now People's Health and they told me to just bring in my card. Went through the screening and eye dilation but asked if I wanted drops to reverse it quick for $20 (they don't work, still took 4-5 hrs to reverse). Next dr sees me and then asks if I want a prescription to take with me? For $40. I'm like why? And then told they can't fill it there but Wal-Mart would take it. Now do you think that could of been disclosed prior? I'm calling foul and a money racket. How frequently does this happen? Apparently enough that it continues. I will go to a MD next time, not a scam running DO. Do I think I had an adequate eye exam, yes. Do I think Chiasson is running a scam and has a monopoly on a local market and exploiting seniors? HELL YES. Will i go back again? HELL NO. If I went to a medical doctor I would of not been charged $20 for dilation drop reversal nor $40 for a prescription. Just a PSA.

Drs are very knowledgeable, check in was a breeze- everyone seemed nice- they have a nice selection of frames. I would recommend Chiasson Eyecare in Raceland for any eye conditions!

Had my first appointment today with Dr. Hebert. Went to go for an eye exam and get fitted for contacts. The staff was friendly when I arrived and the doctor was very professional, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I've been to eye doctors before and it's a quick 1 or 2, 3 or 4, etc., etc. then your done. Going here the doctor did so many tests I normally don't get done and he worked with me to get the perfect script, perfect contacts after trying 3 or 4 different ones in my left eye and letting me go back to the exam room for a few more checks. After trying two out I finally decided to order my year of contacts. I highly recommend coming here they are very knowledgeable and are willing to work with you. Thank you!
