Every doc i have seen for over 10 years have been excellent. Great support staff. Teaching hospital, so you have extra care. Excellent techs. Always caring. May have some long waits but when your turn comes there is never a rush. Thorough testing there and results & reports are always available on their portal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for me!

Dr. Abivari is very thorough and does a great job. The technicians are also very good and take their time with the patient. They have healed me out a great deal with my keratoconus.

Brought my Mom in for some diagnostics. Our tech, Sandra A., was phenomenal. She was extremely patient with my limited mobility mother and spent as much time as my Mom needed to feel comfortable and informed regarding treatment. Sandra's professionalism offset the fact that Tufts didn't have any wheelchairs available for handicapped patients. If it were not for our incredible tech, this review would have only warranted 2 stars.

Dr. Peter Zhao An emergency issue with my eye had me going to NEEC for treatment. My surgery was done, not once but twice, largely in part to the severity of the problem.. When booking a F/u I was told 10wks out because my surgeon was no longer with NEEC, but saw patients 1x per month. Not happy. I was referred to Dr. Peter Zhao. This referral turned out to be the BEST part of my whole optical experience. Apprehensive at first about a new Doctor these worries disappeared upon meeting him. He is through, compassionate, listens to your concerns and answers all your questions. I did have to have a 3rd surgery and he took the time to review, even re review the procedure when I needed that. He was well aware that this was my 3rd surgery in 9 months so he made sure I was able to ask all the questions I needed to ask. I was at ease with him. His technical skill has proven to be outstanding. His pre op and post op visits help to calm nerves. Recovery was issue free. He welcomes communication with his patients at all junctures of the process. Dr. Zhao is one of the best eye surgeons in this area.

Stay away from this doctor. She doesn't respect your time. I waited to see this doctor for an hour with no apology for her tardiness from her or any of her staff. Everyone seemed surprised and looked upset when I inquired where was the doctor! The technician had no idea when she would show up. Since I wasn't ready to waste hours of my precious time and had to get back to work, I had to leave without getting any treatment. Of course, she didn't bother to get in touch with me and apologize. It's time for this doctor to step out of her self-importance and learn some basic manners. Until then, she doesn't deserve your business.

Good doctor, but terrible office. Always a long unnecessary wait. Once have first appointment at 8.am, waited more than 1h to just get my mother in.

being seen by Dr. Hettler-Young was such a positive experience. No judgement, no stupid questions, no information was unneccesary or useless. Endless patience, and didn't make you feel like she was in a rush to see the next patient. Optical shop is right next door and if you're in there, see Lisa who helped me look for the perfect pair of eyeglasses and then didn't blink when I asked if I could use my old frame instead. She cared, went above and beyond to make sure I found a pair that suited me, introduced me to new styles, and didn't try to "sell" me anything, other than helping me find a frame style that looked good. Big props to lisa and her dedication to helping patients.

I was very attached to Dr Reisman and will miss him. I don't believe I will return to see anyone else. However, I received a phone message today about an appointment for 23 MAY,which I do not have. Check you records for who does have an appointment for that day
