I went to him in early 2000s when I had floaters in eyes. Another Pune doctor had put me through unnecessary dye injection test costing thousand of rupees. When I reached Dr. Kelkar first he assured me that my problem was minor and then went on treating it effortlessly over next few weeks. I recently went to him again because I had not got his appointment before my cataract surgeries last year, He is same as he was earlier. Very rooted, very helpful, almost unreal. Staff too is very good. You do get appointment early if you have urgent problem. Otherwise he is worth one's wait. I hope he remains UN-CORPORATIZED as long as possible!

Dr Avinash Kelkar the eye clinic owner is one of the best eye specialist in Pune.His knowledge and expertise is really phenomenal. They take only 15 entries daily and can book appointment on phone. This causes healthy waiting list.However it is worth to wait to get best treatment.
Dr personally do all checking and Operation as well.
Most important thing is being in Pune this is very reasonable clinic when it comes to consulting and operation charges.
