I can't say enough good things. Dr. Gilmore has helped me see the best I've ever seen and is so knowledgeable. She has helped correct my astigmatism with my lenses and has outstanding and unbeatable bedside manner/customer service. I would recommend her to everyone. Every staff member I interact with is just as outstanding and helpful. I feel like I'm around friends when I'm there. They have a good selection of frames and accessories as well.

Friendly, exemplary customer service from all the staff at Hersey. Dr. Chin was able to dial in my husband's glasses prescription and he can see again! He got new glasses and even took them back once right before we moved to Maine last month but he still wasn't able to see well. Since getting Dr. Chin's prescription glasses, he has been able see all things big and small. Thank you so much for improving his quality of life Dr. Chin!!

Awesome people that got me in quickly and left with a new pair of awesome glasses and a new prescription in about an hour or so. Couldn't ask for better care

I can't even express how grateful I am for Hersey Eye Care - I think I smiled my whole way home! After having a less than ideal experience with another local optical company, my visit with Dr. Gilmore was so REFRESHING! She listened to me, addressed all of my concerns, was SO efficient and helped me understand WHY I was experiencing some of my symptoms. I am really torn on leaving this review...I visited this morning, and the receptionists, eye tech who took my pictures and measurements, and the eye doctor were all INCREDIBLE people. Very nice, professional, prompt....I have only good things to say about them. They all have a five star rating from me. However, my review is only three stars, as the eyeglasses sales lady would get a 1 star. When I started to pick out my glasses, she was busy helping someone else - of course, no problem, I started to look around myself. She didn't seem too quick in wanting to help me though - and I always find trying to choose new glasses an overwhelming experience. She did ask me what I was looking for, and I said basically exactly what I already have, just wanted a new pair as these were getting old. I handed her my glasses, and she proceeded to put them down and just had me continue on my own. I then found one I somewhat liked but wasn't big on the colour so I asked if there were other colours available. She did pull them up on the computer but didn't provide much help or information to me about this. I asked a couple of questions and got some basic answers but it seemed a struggle somehow? Finally, I noticed the glasses I liked had a religious inscription on the inside - I don't begrudge anyone their religious freedoms, but I myself am not religious so I asked if the inscription was optional. She bluntly said no, then left the area to sit down and chat with her receptionists (not work related). Maybe I struck a nerve asking that question? I looked around by myself for a while again, but by then it was clear she was done with what little help she was giving me and that I was on my own once again. Just unfortunately an overall rude vibe from her which was so strange as everyone else was super nice and pleasant. Not exactly what a business wants in their sales staff! I was ready to buy some glasses then and there, but ended up leaving as I was made to feel like a burden on her.

Dr. Gilmore is one of the best I have ever been to. Her knowledge, care...amazing! The entire staff is wonderful and always ready to help. This is a space of qualified individuals who not only listen, they hear!
