I recently had the pleasure of working with an exceptional optician, Jacob, at Kittery Optometric Associates. Jacob is that rare combination of personality and professionalism. He saw to all the important details of my glasses (prescription, fit and style) with expertise, while making me feel like a valued partner in the process. Jacob has a great sense of humor and made the selection fun!

A couple of weeks ago, I developed a "floater" in my left eye. It was fairly sizable and while starting out on the right side of my eye, it began to migrate towards the middle - directly in my line of sight.
I called and made an appointment with Dr Michaud, my optometrist. She and her staff were great. They thoroughly examined my eye and determined that my retina was intact and that the floater was a result of a small tear in the lining of the retina. Dr. Michaud assured me that my condition should improve in a week or two, after some rest and relaxation.
The floater is gradually shrinking and I am almost completely healed. My sincere appreciation for their professionalism.

I had a 4:30 appt. on 2/5 in Kittery to make up for the snow on 1/26 closing the Wells office. I was there until 5:30, but EVERYONE did a great job from checking in through checking out. I never felt rushed, even though several people were working late. I used to live in York, but moved to Kennebunk, so I was very happy to hear that Dr. Lowe had office hours in Wells a couple of Mondays a month!
