Unbelievable excellent care. Amazing friendly people. We were in town visiting from Florida and the the way Dr Sullivan and her staff took care of my wife was amazing. Going above and beyond by getting an appointment back in Florida to follow up. Maybe this the "Maine way" but you will have a difficult time finding better service. And issue was resolved in a few days. THANK YOU Riverside Eye Center and Dr. Sullivan

Always satisfied with the overall appointment. The environment is always neat and clean, the staff very professional, yet friendly and Dr. Whittaker offers a very thorough exam and a detailed explanation of his findings and takes time to answer any questions or concerns that the patient might have.

Feel the exam was thorough - however went for severe floaters - they offered nothing for that - the biggest issue was having them dilate my pupils - never having that done to me before I was not aware of exactly what it would do to you - they intern excused me for my appointment and sent me on my way and I proceeded to walk outside unable to open my eyes at all and got lost and could not find my car. I couldn't even find my way back to the office for help. I found that very unprofessional, very dangerous and now very reluctant to go back with my issue that I am continuing to have - i have since now been diagnosed with Retinal Uveitis - a condition that could make me go blind - when i called for referral, as this office told me my eyes were perfectly healthy - they refused to give me a referral - which could have resulted into a devastating situation had i not gotten a referral my PCP.

The staff is caring and professional. From check in through testing and the eye exam by the doctor I was treated with respect and kindness. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for top quality eye care in Maine.

Fradulant billing practices at the Norway office. I called 2 weeks in advance for my eye exam for a quote of $250.00. I paid $250.00 up front prior to the eye exam. A few weeks later I receive another bill of $75.00? They forgot to charge me for what was part of the initial exam they according to their billing office. No one said anything while I was at their office about an extra charge. On top of that, the prescription is wrong & I'm out another $250.00 for that! So Buyer Beware! Stay away from Riverside Eye Center.

my "other half" has been going to this office for a while under the care of Dr. Whitaker. When making an appointment for her yearly eye exam, the receptionist asked," Does it matter which Doctor she wanted to see?" My "other half" stated, "I guess it doesn't matter since both Doctors are together at the same place." Then came the bill. They charged her $220.00 as a new patient instead of the $165.00 as a patient are ready in their system. When questioned, the office person (Christy) said it was because of the switch to the 2nd doctor and therefore had to be billed as a new patient. (Did not switch...was asked if either Doctor mattered ) My "other half" then asked, " If this is the truth, then why is Dr. Whitaker's name on the bill as the provider?" Office person then said, "Because you ARE Dr. Whitaker's patient." HUH? YOU CAN NOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS This is a way to get extra money for no extra service. Shame on them.

Dr Frank was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. The staff was friendly and helpful. I've already booked my appointment for next year. They were great!

Dr Sugal is very educated in her practice, she answered all my questions I had. The staff treated me very nicely. I had a good experience.
