I had to be seen for a possible emergency in the beginning of the year. Lorie certainly acted like it was a big inconvenience, even though she agreed to see me. She didn't even acknowledge me when I said goodbye to her leaving my appointment. There was a $40 bill that I was working with my insurance on getting it covered. Since I didn't pay this bill in what they consider a timely matter, they discharged me from the office. Over $40. I dont recommend this office as it's very clear what they really care about. Zero empathy for thier patients.

You guys are so ignorant. You told me the eyeglasses rule didn't apply to me because it was enacted after my appointment. The eyeglass rule was made in 1978. They updated it recently but you are required, since 1978, to provide the prescription to me after the appointment. The Eyeglass Rule is a regulation established by the Federal Trade Commission, which means it is a rule rather than a law. However, it has the force of law because it is enforced by the FTC, and eye doctors are legally required to comply with it. I expect my prescription in the mail or I will be contacting the federal trade commission and the Maine state licensing board.

She has been with me thru cataracts, glaucoma, and uveitis. She is always very thorough, patient and Kind. She is and will always be my favorite doctor!

I would not recommend lorie parks eye care to any one my new lenses were no better then my old ones the girls were rude, an insulting .i received my glass in poor condition they were twisted an nose piece was bent an falling off. I went back 4 times hoping they would fix them, two of the girls took them out back to fix .i could not belive it when they brough them back to me in the same condition plus my vision was still blurry i was so upset i gave up.Its was a waste of time an money.So went to Feilds eye care in palmyra .What a difference they were very nice and did a wonderful job .I can see Cristal clear now and i love my new glasses

My wife went there and she needed eye drops. They were supposed to send them to Walgreens. This was 2 weeks ago and they still haven't sent them to the pharmacy, even though she has called them several times. They are so condescending and incompetent. Do not trust these people with your eyes.

Do not come here if you have a disability or have any special needs. I have a traumatic brain injury and have been fighting for my life. When I called for support with ordering contacts, the front desk person Jamie was belittling and condescending and bullied me for having missed an appointment reminder. While trying to explain my medical condition she continued talking loudly over me. I had to ask her 3x to please stop. This is abuse to disabled people and inexcusable.
