The person who does the initial testing is very professional and puts you at ease. I love working with Dr. Arsenault because he is very thorough, friendly, and explains if or why he is making changes. Plus, my prescriptions are always on point. The only negative thing is the extra costs. Maine Optometry is in network, but I still had to pay $125 because of the extra fees associated with one of the eye tests and the type of contacts I wear. I can go to other eye doctors in the area and pay less, but I prefer Dr. Arsenault.

My husband had cataract surgery in mid September. Despite calls from the optometrist office, calls made by myself he did not get an appt. Until early November. And I feel strongly there was little effort made to speed this up. Then when we checked in she said I don't have his records! Wait, no records pre check before an appt was done? And we've waited nearly two months? There needs to be a better system in place to accommodate a post cataract patient and getting them in faster. If you can't do it, tell us. We would have moved on to another group. You need plain and simple post cataract appt slots to better accommodate these patients.
Once we finally got in Dr. Johnston and her staff was great.
