The SMILE surgery itself was excellent and I'm very happy with my eyes. However, the scheduling process is a mess. It's unacceptable to schedule multiple patients for the same time, forcing long waits when taking time off work is already a struggle. This lack of organisation is the main issue. In fact, I've had faster, more organised experiences at the Mater Dei public hospital - which says a lot about the need for improvement here. Would expect more from a private hospital especially given the cost.

I had an amazing experience at this eye clinic! The SMILE laser procedure was quick, painless, and life-changing. The staff were professional, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. Highly recommend to anyone considering laser eye surgery!

Very well served by this clinic. I called this morning at 8:15 because I had a small incident the day before that needed to be checked. The receptionist who answered my call was very helpful and accommodating. Thanks to her, I was able to get an appointment within an hour. I was seen by Mr. Ivan Vella, who was extremely kind and empathetic, making me feel at ease immediately. The entire experience was efficient and reassuring. Highly recommend this clinic for their excellent service and caring staff.

I was recommended Mr Fenech for my cataract surgery and cannot fault my experience with him. He was informative, patient with my questions, kind, reassuring and made the whole process easy. My surgery was a success and has been life changing giving me unaided vision so I no longer need either glasses or contact lenses. I cannot recommend him and the staff at the clinic enough - a great experience.

I can't express enough how wonderful my experience was at the St James Hospital Eye Clinic. The team there, especially Nadia and the reception staff, were incredibly helpful and kind from the moment I walked in. They made sure everything was scheduled smoothly and really took care of me. A special mention goes to the nurse who was unbelievably patient and reassuring during my visits. The doctors were fantastic too - they explained everything clearly during my appointments, and my laser eye surgery was a success. What really stood out was their follow-up care. They checked on me after the surgery and even reached out personally to see how I was doing during my recovery. I've never encountered such personalized and caring treatment. I'm wholeheartedly grateful to everyone at the clinic for their exceptional care and support throughout my eye care journey. Five days ago I underwent eye surgery, primarily a refractive lens exchange in both eyes. Basically this is a procedure whereby one replaces the natural lens of the eye, and inserts a tailor made lens that helps you see from near and far distances without the use of spectacles. The whole process, from the first consultation to the post-op follow-up was nothing short of impressive. The surgeon, Mr. Franco Mercieca and his team at both the eye clinic and St. James Hospital need to be praised for their professionalism, capability and most important making me feel at ease and 'safe' from start to finish. As I write this review without wearing glasses I cannot but recommend the procedure and St. James Eye Clinic for their sterling work and service! Thank you!

The service I received was second to none. The procedure was explained in full detail and follow up appointments were made while I was staying in Malta. The staff were professional during each appointment and the procedure. Aftercare was also very good. I woyld highly recommend St James Hospital
