I had a great experience in the Lutherville office. The Optical department here is very pleasant and absolutely go above and beyond to ensure your glasses are fitted just right. Fabulous experience with the doctor as well. This is my favorite office by bar.
My experience wasn't quite the same at another location so this was definitely a plus.

Nancy at the front desk, has been a breath of fresh air. She always presents with a cheerful and authentic greeting, was attentive to my concerns and went above and beyond to have my surgery reconsidered after the insurance company denied it at the last minute. My return appt was just as pleasant. Dr. Abugo responded to all of my questions thoroughly, with full explanations and care. My surgery went well, with a better than expected recovery. Her steady hand made suture removal almost painless, and she was thoughtful and caring concerning my return to work. I'd recommend this practice 100 times over!

My experience with Katzen has been great thus far. I had a eye emergency and when I called initially they couldn't see me for several weeks, however they call center contacted the two locations closest to my home and they were able to fit me into the schedule. Dr. Burgos and his assistant were very nice and addressed my issue. The same issue started to arise again and on a Saturday they were able to fit me into the schedule immediately. We only have one set of eyes and they understand the urgency of eye emergencies. I greatly appreciate it. I would also highly recommend using the patient portal. Thank you

Meeting the doctor was such a pleasure very compassionate and listening to what I had to say and very informative on what the procedure would be like. Still waiting to hear on surgery date.
