Long wait times, they care about money more than your eye care!! Prior to my visit, the staff explained that I would receive a trial pair of contacts... I got to my appointment on time at 4:30pm. 30 minutes go by and I asked the front desk for a wait time. I was told that there was 4 people ahead of me. The staff should at least tell patients if things are behind. As if our time isnt valuable. I booked an emergency appointment because my glasses are broke, I have no contacts on hand and i haven't been able to work or drive because of it. I asked if I could get the trail pair of contacts so I can SEE and reschedule later in the week. Who ever the guy was offered to fix my glasses for 70 bucks! Why would I put money into a old pair of glasses, Id rather pay for new ones... then he HE TOLD ME 15 dollars for the trail pair of contacts , 15 dollars is not a lot of money, but I'm already paying for an exam and new glasses, and yall are the ones making patients wait 2 HOURS!! Visual eyes will never get my money again! Taking my healthcare to a company that cares!

New client at this location was not happy at all.I went in.I had a greeting from the lady in the front desk with the red locs. I was in my nerves, so I didn't think she was talking to me, but I also greeted back after I realized. I came in at 9:12am and my appointment with 9:30am thinking, I had to fill out some paperwork, but nobody called me up to fill out any paperwork. So I verified with the lady in the middle to see if she needed my information. Because I was starting to wonder why I haven't been called back yet. And this was like 25 minutes later. So I brought it through our attention. She got my information, and I also after 45 minutes of waiting in the waiting room. I asked the redhead lady and a lady named Morissa. People kept coming in after me and kept going to the back.They were getting called before me.Meanwhile, I was waiting for over an hour.In the waiting room just to be called back, and when I confront them, Marissa response with a dry apology that someone is already back there.And that's why i'm still waiting to be called for what i'm being seen for. At this point i'm already irritated.Because as a new patient, I shouldn't have to wait over an hour in the waiting room before being seen. Finally got called back at 10:05am the exam took twenty five minutes. Then, the doctor also came in after 10 minutes of being put in the room. Didn't even introduce himself just started asking me how I'm doing. And started working on my exam then I mentioned to him.I don't even know your name before he can tell me. Honestly, my first experience here. The people were all over the place.No one was organized.No apologies was sincere.Everybody was just oblivious to the situation. If you don't mind waiting in the waiting room for an hour plus and people going ahead of you.You're welcome to come back.

Although I had an appointment, I waited over an hour to see the doctor, and when I finally did see him, he rushed through my exam. They tried to charge me $90 for the exam and fitting that is included with my insurance. Luckily, I know my benefits so I had them correct the error, but I gave you the insurance information...the least you could do is actually read through what is included in my benefits. I was given "tester" contacts that were neither the brand I use nor the correct prescription. I was told that they were out of my brand and would order more for me to come back to test before ordering my contacts and that I would also be called within a week to order my contact prescription. I never received the correct "testers" or the call to order my contacts. I called the office twice to order my contacts before the end of the year and was told to call back because the office manager was not in. During the second call, the woman who answered the phone said she'd leave a note for the office manager to call me back. I again never received a phone call and it has been two weeks so now the "testers" are no longer good. So I called today to ask for my prescription to order my contact lenses elsewhere. I ended up ordering through 1-800-contacts so I didn't lose my vision benefits before the new year. This office is unorganized and unprofessional. I will not be returning.

This office wasted 50 minutes of my time (35min roundtrip drive, 15min wait) unapologetically. After checking in at 12:55 and then waiting 10 minutes for my 1 PM appointment, I learned from someone else waiting that appointments were running 1.5 hours late. (She was still waiting for her noon appointment.) When I went back to the front desk, the employee confirmed that appointments were running over an hour late. I wouldn't have come in today had I known this. No one apologized for not notifying me in advance nor for not telling me when I checked in nor for my having to reschedule my appointment to a time that would work for me. They also did not initially provide a real explanation for the long wait time when I first asked. I understand uncontrollable things happen that can cause delays, but handling the aftermath so poorly is very bad customer service. Disappointing.

I have had an amazing experience with Visual Eyes. This was my first time seeing them and I've had a great experience with everyone I've interacted with. They have a very clear, smooth procedure for checking people in and getting them seen in a timely fashion. Today I had the pleasure of also meeting Mr. Wayne so check me out for my contacts and he was one of the kindest people I've met. He took great care of me, answered my questions and made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you!

Worst service that me and my family received. They charge you even for breathing air in that office. They don't want to provide you a PD if you don't paid $45. Our insurance cover up to $1,000 for glasses they charge a decently amount of $545 for deductible. Is ridiculous they way that they communicate and said this customer is mean when you are not. The worst experience. Don't try here On 08/13/2026 I just tried to place a contact lenses order and is frustrating that since 8:30 am nobody can take care of me then Nia have the audacity to said that customer in front of her is a priority over the ones that call over the phone because they have appointments. Funny that customers that walk in is a priority here. So you pick and choose what's priority. Last thing please DONT DO IT they have the extremely worst customer service ever

The Visual Eye in Mitchelville has stepped up there game. I recently had two appointments a couple weeks apart. The experience was excellent both times Nia at the front is outstanding and provided excellent service with a great attitude and smile. She made my Glaucoma testing experience go with ease. Then the Optician name Waquita is excellent she helped me with my eye contacts and eye glasses ordering. She friendly and makes you feel like the most important person in the room. She provided excellent service including come to assist me to her desk after my initial eye appointment. I'm impressed with the level of service received my last two appointments and would definitely recommend this location for all your eye care. Thank you Dr. Nnabue, his an outstanding Optometrist

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Bernice and Ms. Leanne for their exceptional support in resolving an issue at a previous Visual Eye location regarding my son. He has been wearing his new glasses for just over a week now, and he absolutely loves them! Your professionalism, prompt response, and effective resolution of the matter truly stood out. This experience has shown me that sometimes traveling a bit farther is well worth it for outstanding service. I look forward to visiting this location again in the future
