I recently visited Wolfe Eye Clinic for a general eye exam and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. I suffer from chronic dry eye and have been seeing a specialist at Johns Hopkins who recommended RF and IPL laser therapy, which has been shown to significantly improve dry eye symptoms. I had been struggling to find a provider locally that actually offers this treatment, so I was genuinely pleased to learn that Wolfe Eye Clinic provides it and at a very reasonable price. The facility is state-of-the-art, clean, and very well organized. The staff was pleasant, professional, and made the entire process seamless. Scheduling was easy, and they took the time to thoroughly explain my insurance coverage, treatment options, and what to expect financially, which I truly appreciated. What stood out most was how knowledgeable and transparent they were, especially when discussing both general eye care and more specialized dry eye treatments. It is rare to find a practice that combines advanced technology, affordability, and excellent patient care all in one place. I highly recommend Wolfe Eye Clinic whether you are dealing with dry eye issues or simply need comprehensive ophthalmology care. This office is top-notch, professional, and reasonably priced.

Dr. Brian Woolf has been our eye doctor for many years. We are very pleased with his service and professionalism. In fact, that can be said of the entire staff. The Woolf Eye Lab has the latest equipment to help make the best assessments of vision and eye health. Also, they have a wonderful selection of frames with skilled staff to assist in selecting the right frames with the best lenses for our needs.

Going to EYE Doctor, normally its not something to be excited about but at Woolf & Woolf it's an exciting experience. The staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Appointment scheduled and as soon as I walk in the door I check in and the visit starts immediately. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Woolf and I can't stop smiling enough during the appointment. He will give you eye compliments but keeps you track for excellent eye health. Next, I have some much variety to choose from as far as glasses. Everyone at Woolf is excellent!! Eye exams using current technology, both doctors I saw were very thorough in their questions, explanations, and presc. The techs patiently worked with me in finding the frames best suited for me and worked with my insurance for the best coverage afforded me. My husband returns this week for his annual visit. We are extremely pleased with Woolf Eye Lab; we recommend them highly.

Whether it's impossible scheduling, insurance denials, or offices that operate on a volume over time basis, it is rare that we have an experience worth praising. Over this past holiday break I was in need of an emergency visit to an eye doctor, and the team at Woolf were gracious enough to work me in on NEW YEAR'S EVE. Even though they were closing early that day and had a full schedule already. To be clear, I was not a current patient - in fact I was visiting MD from the Midwest for the holiday. They had no reason to accommodate me, but they did. Dr. Mantzavinos and the tech (I apologize to the tech as I did not catch her name) were without exaggeration the best eye care professionals I have experienced in the 40 years I have been going to eye doctors. Dr. Mantzavinos was thoughtful, caring, very knowledgeable, and took the time that most physicians don't seem to these days. She also diagnosed an existing condition I had that my current doctor overlooked. I wish I lived in MD so that Dr. Mantzavinos could be my eye doctor permanently, but alas I am too far away. If you have a current eye doctor that doesn't listen to you, take a fair amount of time to discuss your medical issues, and/or seems like you are a nuisance to them, then Woolf and Woolf is where you want to be. And also their front of house team rocks.

The doctor is very nice, but unfortunately my overall experience has not been great. First, I was overcharged by more than double. That was corrected. I wait and when I received my glasses, I initially thought they were fine. However, by the end of the day it became clear they were not. My vision was blurry, my eyes were hurting, and I could not see properly. I gave them another day to adjust, but ultimately had to go back to my old glasses because I simply could not function in the new ones. When I returned to the office, I was told I may need two pairs of glasses. I'm confused by this, as nothing has changed with my vision and I can see perfectly fine with my old glasses. Nonetheless, a minor adjustment was made to the prescription and glasses sent off again. I picked up the updated glasses a week later, and unfortunately they now seem even worse than before. Overall, I am not happy and now have a very expensive paperweight.
